The reviewer that was complaining about the backs of the stools - he has the backs on up side down. So, don't judge them by his review. These counter height bar stools are quite nice. They have a comfortable lightly padded seat and back that is easily cleaned. They are durable with a stable footing which is great for kids. The counter height is perfect giving enough knee room to sit comfortably. Assembly is fairly straightforward with just the square leg support being a bit troublesome to install. The holes are tricky to get lined up to install the bolts. The remaining parts easily fit together and hold nicely with bolts . I’m happy with the quality, comfort, ease of cleaning and value. These tall chairs were well packed and went together easily. They are very comfortable and with the curved down design of the seat your legs don't have the circulation cut off from extended sitting. These are very good replacement chairs.
