I truly love this soap! It has an absolutely pleasant scent. It takes a little more to lather up well, but it cleanses well and rinses off without leaving behind any waxy or oily residues. It doesn't leave my skin feeling itchy or dry either which is a big deal as while I'm writing this, we are heading into winter! I was drawn in by the appeal of essential oils in a soap, in this case rose oil, and not sure what to expect. What arrived was a very small bar of soap weighing 3.5 ounces (100 grams). It's smaller than a standard deck of playing cards, though perhaps a little thicker than that. My photos show it compared to a travel bar of soap I brought home from a past hotel stay. (It may be difficult to tell from the photo, but the hotel bar has never been unwrapped). The price for this rose bar isn't too outrageous, and it is a hard soap, but the size could be more generous. As far as quality goes, it's okay but nothing special. The rose scent is nice, not too overpowering. I rubbed the wet bar with my hands for a while but couldn't work up much of a lather. On the back of the box, the instructions state to use it "after washing." I'm not sure if this is a translation problem, or if this bar really isn't meant to lather up or clean, and has a different purpose. The bar was very securely packaged, plastic wrap on the outside of the box and again inside around the bar. I checked and the bar is still two years out from its expiration date. ... show more

The green tea soap bar is a really nice cleansing soap bar. The rectangular bar came in a nice box and there was no damage to the bar inside. My wife loves the fragrance as she is a green tea fan. She has been using it for a couple of days as part of her face washing routine at night. She liked how well the lather created felt on her skin as she washed as well as the lingering fragrance of green tea on her skin. She shared that it did a good job of cleaning her skin without drying her skin which tends to happen with traditional soap bars. As such she would recommend this soap bar. ... show more
