The cart itself is a very nice, versatile addition to my kitchen and balcony. It is sturdy and clearly made to last. The big problem is the assembly process. It is by no means is easy and can be quite frustrating as you attempt to follow the illustrated directions. It would be helpful to do the assembly on a work bench with access from both sides. I resorted to using a bed.

We have just screened in our deck and are spending a great deal of time outside. This cart is my new best friend, ferrying napkins, tableware, food and drinks or just hanging around as an extra surface near the barbecue. Navigates the step with some difficulty (the prior owners did not think that a step down to the deck was not the brightest idea!), so I just get another pair of hands to help guide the cart over the step. When not in use, we store it on the deck, protecting it with a cover for outdoor chairs (see photo). The instructions are clear and detailed - the trick is to assemble this cart when you are not in a hurry or distracted. I found that if I was unsure about something, I simply had to go back to the instructions and carefully study the relevant step details to obtain the answer. I also borrowed my hubby's adjustable wrench as there were times when it was just very awkward to hold a wrench and try and tighten the bolts. And, surprise, surprise, the cart collapses beautifully. The wheels are tough (with brakes) and can traverse uneven terrain well. The cart is sturdy, spacious and versatile. There are a few areas that could be improved: 1) There should be clips to keep the handle in place as I do find that I sometimes push the handle, rather than the cart, forward. 2) The wine holder should have been deeper (about double the current height); although the wine holder works fine when the cart is at rest, I am less comfortable transporting bottles of wine in those holders. I strap my bottle, which is abnormally tall due to an aerator, to the one side with adjustable bands that I have (but a short bungee cord would also work) when the cart is in motion. 3) The holders for the wine glasses only work with narrow stemmed glasses. My outdoor glasses are chunky wine glasses and the stems are too chubby to fit into the elegant holders. Storage space is always a premium in our apartment. I needed a cart that could do double duty for us. When not entertaining, I needed a place to store extra pantry items in our already full laundry room, and when guests are here, we wanted a space that could hold a portable ice machine and bar supplies. My decor is gold, silver, white, cream and gray so the gold cart is a nice accent even if it is setting out. While I can assemble things, this one I needed my hubby's help. It was just a little more complicated but easy enough for him to do it. All the pieces went together great. It is extremely heavy duty, the frame, baskets and especially wheels. It has a lot of storage space and I like that it is movable so when I am using it in my laundry room, I can wheel it out of the way easily when I need to get to the sink or in a cabinet. And I like that the handle folds down and out of the way so it doesn't take up as much floor space in a small room. The gold color is a bit garish but hopefully it will age and develop a little bit of patina oftentimes like metallic finishes do. Overall I am very happy with the cart and serves our needs well.

I have mixed reviews on this cart. The assembly was a bit difficult - the instructions were not clear so it took more time to put together than it should have. Once assembled I found the car to be very sturdy and nice looking. I was hoping to use it as a bar car but after assembly I decided to use it in my kitchen for extra storage. Again this is nice cart but you will need patience with the assembly.

I don't know what I was expecting but just from picking up the box on my porch I realized this was a substantial cart. Since it was foldable, I thought it was going to be more lightweight and flimsy. This cart is amazing, with room for wine glasses held by the stems even. And it's foldable if you don't want to look like a drunk with a bar cart always set up. I picked this for backyard cookouts more than a bar cart. It was a way to serve drinks and appetizers while the meat is grilling and not take up space on the table. And because it folds away, I can put it away in the garage instead of buying a cover or worrying about it rusting out after a couple of seasons. I got the black and it's a good looking cart that could be set up all the time. This would be especially good in small apartments because you can move it around from the kitchen to the living room. And just put it in a closet when you don't need it.
