I rarely leave reviews but I spent so long debating which lights to buy that I felt I owed fellow shoppers this one. These lights are great! They are plastic, which I wanted after dropping a string of glass ones, of which I am still finding pieces. The bulbs are a little smaller than I envisioned but I actually like them that way. They are lightweight and super easy to hang. No guide wire or anything necessary since they are so light. I ordered the 100 ft and the 30 ft and they connect simply. One bulb wasn’t lit but it just needed a little tightening and then worked fine. I know these are dimmable and I worried they would be too bright but even with 130 feet of them across our patio, they aren’t too bright. They give just the right amount of light for us. I don’t see a need for a dimmer for our use. The light is soft and not glaring but provides plenty of light. The night we hung them we had a major windstorm. Winds up to 60 mph and power lines arcing and power flashing off and on. These lights withstood it all without any problems. I have these hooked up to a plug that allows me to use them with a remote and also an extension cord and it all works smoothly. These lights are so cool and definitely worth the money. I wasn't able to leave them out more than a weekend because I had them on my retractable awning. But I love these. They're beautiful and bright without killing your eyes. They're made of plastic so if you're too rough with them it can dent inward, but you can easily squeeze the dents out. Also, be aware that some bulbs may seem not to work, but all I had to do was push them in tighter and then the bulb would light. They do take time (like maybe 6 minutes) to unravel but it's only because the bulbs are big and the wire is thin so the bulbs can get easily twisted with the wire. I've read reviews of this being a huge issue, I believe the issue is called "entitlement", just a bunch of Karens that need to have more patience than a 3 year old. Get them!! UPDATE 5/6/2023: These lights are still the best things ever!!! One season later. Again, having to put them up and down every weekend but they still work great! I love these things! ... show more

I wanted better lighting in my sunroom and thought string lights would not only be pretty but give off more light. After much research to make sure I didn't order yellow-ish lights, I ordered these and am very happy. The porch is 14'x10' and I ordered the 50' string. Using stickable hooks, I strung it in a zig zag along the ceiling. Since there is no shutoff switch, I plug it into a power strip and attached the power strip to the wall by the door.     • Great, hard to find replacement bulbs
I love these lights they put out a decent amount of light I found one strand was enough to have under a white 10 x 10 tent for an at night show underneath a street light, but I decided to buy a second strand for when I do other outdoor night shows, and I’m not near a street light because I want my art to be visible. However, my first strand ended up with a busted bulb after the first time I used it (not sure what happened there but nbd). I tried to find replacement bulbs just so I had back ups for the future, and I bought bulbs that fit the description of this item and they are not the right bulbs. Also, it says you can message them to get replacement bulbs, but I have not found a place to reach out directly to a seller. If the seller sees this and would like to reach out to me with the listing for the replacement bulbs, I’m just looking to buy like a six pack or something, for just in case. ... show more

This is actually my second set. My first set did not work properly and I was very frustrated. I did send them back and got a second set. They are working wonderfully. I love that they have little hooks on them to hang them. For I have tin on the wall I wanted to hang these. The hooks made it so easy to just hook them to the tin. They look beautiful.
