Description

Belts produced from a mold process will not achieve the exact rib profiles that are required by OEM suppliers. The serpentine belt on our '08 Hyundai Sonata was getting old (the original) so I chose this belt from Bando as a replacement. It fit just fine and I like that it is made in the USA. I'm not necessarily against products made elsewhere but a LOT of reviewers like Bando and now so do I. As far as ease of replacement, well, it does take some time and patience to do the replacement (at least on a Sonata) but it can be done. I had to learn from YouTube how to do it but then I find it helpful for lots of things. Be sure you have the right tools to reach and move the tensioner pulley before you attempt to replace it. As far as longevity goes, I'll just have to wait and see but I'm confident it will perform just fine. ... show more

I bought this to replace a worn belt on my 2013 Honda Civic and it was a perfect fit and not too hard to install, which Honda doesn't make easy on these cars anyway. It also silenced a loud rattle noise the car had at idle and would get louder when the AC kicked on - I thought I needed a new tensioner but thankfully not.
