Just installed this a couple of weeks ago...excellent quality it seems. Perfect fit. 2014 Acura RDX. The giant belt that came with it (not the timing belt) didn't fit anything. I have no idea why it's there. Everything else was perfect.

Few days ago find finally time to change timing belt on 2016 Honda Odyssey of my friend. There is 203 600 miles on it and timing belt was never changed😳. Old belt was so stretched to the point it didn’t drive or drive very weak water pump. Anyway, I had in the box timing belt, drive belt , water pump, two roller guides and hydraulic tensioner. After 203 000 miles water pump and guides didn’t show any signs of damage. Bearings runs noiseless, no leak on water pump. So installed water pump, roller guides on left and right and the problem started with left guide. No matter how hard I tightened it with screw it was loose. Minimal movement but it was loose. It could cause rattling on cold engine start. Removed it and put it back like five times. It moved up and down properly but there was a movement from water pump body. So again removed it and tried to install old one. No movement on old one. Fits perfectly without any movement except up and down. Decided to change roller guides and put new roller in to old guide. After that installed tensioner wich was locked with pin and started positioning timing belt. Whatever I did belt wouldn’t fit. Was to short to put it over left roller. I needed 1/4 inch up and couldn’t put it on the roller. I had roller maximum down ( that’s what I was thinking) After 1 hour I gave up. Removed belt again, drive to OReilly and bought Gates belt.but with the Gates belt same story. Just a smudge but short. If this left guide would go a bit lower. Removed tensioner and then realized what’s wrong. So A Premium used very thin pin to lock hydraulic tensioner in down position. The wire was so thin , like paper clip wire which couldn’t hold tensioner piston in place and mowed it up deforming thinly pin. Fortunately had spare and proper pin . It wasn’t easy to replaced em but finally installed tensioner again and roller moved down and been able to put belt on. Forgot to mention that when was trying to removed this original pin, wire straightened up 🤣 So my advice. If you do timing belt or chain job, stay away from A Premium. ... show more
