I really love this table honestly it feels right on the cusp of 5 stars. The finish is nice, the top, legs, and drawers are lovely solid pieces of wood too. There's really only two things slightly off: 1) It was just BARELY scratched on the edge of the top when it arrived which I fixed with a wood stain repair pen and now it's gone. 2) The drawers don't have tracks / glides, so they're kind of loose. Maybe that's harsh but I did pay $330. If I can find some soft close glides at the hardware store then it will be perfect. ... show more

Technically, I'd give this 4.5 stars, but rounded up because the Seller was responsive and friendly, and overall this is a quality piece of furniture for the price. This is a solid-wood coffee table that came in a walnut finish. It has two small, unobtrusive drawers. This is very affordable given the quality and ode to mid-century modern look. I was nervous of purchasing since it had only 2 reviews, but the table came by the estimated delivery date, well packaged, and very easy to assemble (no tools needed) -- you just attach the leg supports! Tabletop has a smooth finish and easy to wipe down with a lightly damp cloth, but you still slightly feel the wood grain (and know it's real), so it could be scratched if you're rough with it. Why I would deduct a half star: (1) I wanted a warm walnut finish, but the table is darker than compared to the Amazon pictures. In afternoon sun, it does look a bit lighter (as shown in my picture), but general day to day indoor, low-light, it looks more like a dark walnut. (2) The inside of the drawers are sanded but unfinished and seem more like plywood. (3) one of the underside of the leg supports arrived with scratches/dents (seemingly before it was packaged). Why I rounded up to 5-stars: (1) Seller was responsive after I noted the dented/scratched leg support. Since it was on the underside and I'll never see it, I didn't want a replacement leg (seemed wasteful), so Seller provided a very modest refund, which I accepted. (2) despite the color not quite what I wanted, I knew I was taking the risk with ordering online and overall I'm happy with the quality of the furniture and hard-to-find oval shape of the table. ... show more
