This Balsam Hill tree is a terrible example of a most realistic Fraser Fir Christmas tree. It is made of an assortment of flimsy branches with silver tinsel materials inside making it look cheap and inauthentic. This tree is not nearly as full and beautiful as pictured online and no amount of fluffing helps. One note of caution for sensitive skin customers is to be mindful of contact with the branches as it contained a thick, filmy substance that resulted in contact dermatitis. Balsam Hill will not honor its free return policy thus leaving the customer with exorbitant return shipping costs. Or, keep the tree resulting in fewer returns to them for customer dissatisfaction; which most likely helps their marketing for overall customer satisfaction. Beware that this tree is not as advertised and customer service is poor - repetitive replies in a loop of no service. I cannot recommend this tree or company based on my experience. ... show more

The Balsam Hill Christmas tree that I received was so brittle /old that tips broke off when fluffing the tree. I've had a Balsam Hill Christmas tree in the past and it lasted for years, but, this one I received is a dud. And I can't get a live person to talk to about exchanging it. There is no way to get the tree back in the small box to return it. Customer Service is greatly disappointing. I was told through Chat that I'd receive a phone call but never did. ... show more
