Better trees are available on their website for $50-100 more, which is worth the extra expense. Balsam Hill's customer service is terrible, so hope you do not have any problems. I would not buy this tree again. My previous tree was also a Balsam Hill that lasted 7 years before two light strands died and could not be repaired. Their initial quality is good, but for the price, I don't see the 800+ ones (like I previously bought) being worth the money. Customer service messages and asked to call their 888 number to address my issues. I called and they had not idea why I was told to call and there was nothing they could do. Waste of time. Again, trees look fine but do not last and customer service is terrible. ... show more

So in love with my new Christmas tree. I was looking for a slim and realistic Christmas tree and this is just like I wanted. Not too heavy and bulky like my old one. The material is really great too. I need to fluff more, but was just to see if don’t have any issues, since I bought after holiday.

Let me start by saying this tree is probably the most real looking tree I’ve seen. Unfortunately, it’s very underwhelming for the price. I fluffed it according to their directions for over an hour and it still didn’t look as full as their pictures. We kept it up for a several days just to really look at it closely. During that time we had a couple people drop by and each of them said the same thing. They all agreed it looked real but scrawny, like a left over at the tree lot. The return was an issue. It’s technically from Amazon but the return is done through Balsam Hill. We had to make multiple calls to both Amazon and Balsam hill to work out the return. It was just a pain. Then we were charged a $29 “restocking fee”. We called Balsam Hill 5 times! Once we got an extremely rude and unhelpful woman who claimed to be a supervisor for 6 years and swore up and down that they didn’t take Amazon returns. SHE WAS WRONG! And slowed down the whole return process. This was the most annoying Amazon purchase I’ve ever made. ... show more

This tree is extremely sparse even after two hours trying to shape you see right through it and some branches have no lights near enough to make it look right. Certainly not worth the 500+ I paid for it.
