Features

  • Premium Quality Materials: Baloo soft weighted comforter is made of high quality, breathable cotton for maximum comfort and safety. Baloo is the ONLY quilted weighted comforter made with 100% cotton free from polyester & synthetic liners for cool, natural sleep.
  • Deep Rest and Relaxation: The tight, quilted pattern holds the weighted filling snugly in place so you never have to worry about the weight bunching or pooling. The soft white color promotes calmness, comfort, and hope.
  • Comfort Fit: Baloos 15 lb weighted blanket for adult full/queen size bed measures 60x80 inches. Perfect for sharing, the cool cotton weighted blanket includes small loops (at the sides and corners) to connect to a duvet. Its weighted with glass microbeads where it counts: in the center, where it covers the top of the bed, rather than all the way to the edge. This feels more comfortable and makes it lighter and easier to care for.
  • Machine Washable and Safe for your Dryer: Baloo 60x80 in 15 lb weighted blanket is safe for a regular washing machine and dryer. We recommend using cold water on the gentle cycle with whites only, and drying on low heat. The blankets will dry surprisingly quickly, so they don't need a long dryer cycle. For best results do not dry clean or iron.

  • Improves sleep quality for RLS and sleep apnea
Color: Pebble White Size: 20 lb Full/Queen Blanket, 60x80 in.
I bought this for my spouse to try, as they are dealing with Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) and sleep apnea, as well as chronic pain issues. They are also prone to nightmares, which are sometimes associated with sleep apnea. I did a lot of research and read lots of reviews and finally settled on this one. It has been wildly successful in improving the quality and duration of their sleep. Often they would wake early in the morning after only 5 or 6 hours of sleep and not be able to fall back asleep. With this blanket we are happy to say it’s more like 8 hours of restful deep sleep. As the person sharing the bed, I can observe the sleep is more peaceful with much less tossing and turning, and much less leg movement. It’s made a huge difference in the quality of sleep! We have a king bed and this works perfectly for his half of the bed. It does overlap onto my side by about 8 inches, but I roll that up toward the center, which makes a heavy part and helps keep it from sliding off the bed. If you let too much of it hang off the side of the bed gravity will pull it, so be mindful. It would be the perfect size for a twin. We choose the 20 lb, he likes it. It does make him a bit hot, but we were able to solve that by turning our AC down 2 degrees. The baffles are sewn with extra smaller panels and really helps keep the beads distributed well. The fabric is beautiful and there are tabs for using inside a duvet cover, if desired, but it would be too hot for him. We have had absolutely no issues finding sand in the bed, which was a common complaint almost every other weighted blanket had. I haven’t washed it yet, but we have a cat that likes sleeping on it and using the upholstery attachment on my vacuum has kept it fur free. I tried it and within five minutes I had to get out from under it. It was just too much for me and really bothered my feet to have something that heavy on them, regular blankets are fine for me. On the other hand, within five minutes my spouse was almost asleep for an afternoon nap, which never happens. You will either love it or leave it in our experience! 11/17/18: thanks to a cat with poor litter box hygiene I had to wash the blanket. I have front load machine and washed it on gentle, as per the directions. I thought it might bunch up and not tumble correctly due to the weight, but it worked perfectly. And it actually dried faster than a regular quilt or duvet because the weight kept it from rolling into a ball. The cotton is a little less smooth than before washing, which is to be expected. ... show more

  • Wish I could return
Color: Pebble White Size: 20 lb Full/Queen Blanket, 60x80 in.
The wife and I read about gravity blankets and decided to try this one. First issue was dimensions of the queen blanket for a queen bed is that it went from edge to edge off the top surface of the bed with no overlap on sides. Just assumed this was intended as it makes sense due to the nature of the blanket. The blanket likes to slide down while sleeping and is very difficult to pull back up. That and while sleeping, if you turn, it feels like the blanket is going to slide off of you and into the center of the bed. I honestly believe this blanket is meant to be used by a single individual and not a couple. Additionally, the glass beads start to pool in the pockets as time goes on and just feel uncomfortable. We took it off the bed and sleep better now without it. Only issue is we waited until a week after the return window to decide to remove it. Would not recommend this blanket and really don't like the idea of gifting it to someone. ... show more

  • The best gift I could have ever given myself - a selfcare must have!
Color: Pebble White Size: 20 lb Full/Queen Blanket, 60x80 in.
I purchased the Baloo Weighted Blanket after doing some research on the benefits of using weighted blankets to help address some of the issues that accompany anxiety. After giving birth to my daughter 9 months ago I found myself struggling with Postpartum Anxiety (PPA) and while I have found ways to manage facets of my anxiety I was still struggling with falling and staying asleep. When my blanket arrived I was on the third week of not getting more than 3 hours of sleep a night - and it was a rare occurrence if the 3 hours were consecutive. Even on nights when the baby would sleep 12 hours I would find myself unable to fall asleep even when exhausted; no matter what I tried my body would just not relax. I can't remember falling asleep the first night I used this blanket. For the first time in months I simply went to bed and fell asleep. The weighted blanket adds a layer of physical comfort that finally allowed me to relax. I have had my blanket for just over a week and my sleeping habits have drastically improved. Of course, the baby still wakes up in the middle of the night (haven't found the miracle product for that yet!) but now I am able to actually go back to bed after being up with her. I traveled over the weekend without bringing the blanket with me only to discover that my husband tried it out while I was gone. He was skeptical of it and even claimed he didn't like it when I first put it on our bed. Funny how that changed. At the return of my trip the 20lb blanket had somehow made it to his side of the bed :) I have since reclaimed my Baloo and I'm working on learning how to share. I guess you can say we are waiting for the oversized couples version (maybe in a CalKing size... hint, hint). But in all seriousness, if you are struggling to sleep try this product. I'm a huge believer in trying natural alternatives to medication before trying prescriptions and I am so thankful that this company and their product exists. And somehow they made the blanket so you don't overheat - it is still the middle of summer here in central Texas and I don't notice any extra warmth when compared to a standard blanket - AMAZING!! ... show more

  • Disingenuous.
Color: Pebble White Size: 15 lb Full/Queen Blanket, 60x80 in.
The second line of the description proudly states: "We are an American company... "...buuuut the label says "Made in China." This is disingenuous at best, deceptive at worst. There are plenty of companies that do this, but it doesn't make it any less distasteful. This time I got caught by it. I was looking at a handful of these blankets from different companies, and supporting a more local product made the difference for me (it sure wasn't price). The blanket seems fine so far. Not the softest material, but seems pretty sturdy. Just wondering which of their other claims I need to read the fine print on? ... show more
