I have vinyl floors so it did leave some dents unfortunately and its too late for me to prevent it from happening now. So if you are a renter, say bye to your deposit or invest in a good rug that will help prevent this! Its a long bench and really skinny legs so the weight will fall back on those little points. I purchased this bench to create an entryway area in my apartment, and am very pleased with it. It's very sturdy, the velvet is soft and doesn't feel or look cheap, and assembly is super easy. All in all, great value for the price. I was slightly surprised (purely personal preference) that the legs are more of a sparkly gold, and not super metallic looking. I bought this bench after deliberating for a while whether or not to get one for my living room. I wanted something low profile to not block light coming in through my window, sturdy enough to seat multiple people, and asthetically matching my furniture. This checked all the boxes! Assembly was very easy (simply screw in the four legs) and took less than 2 minutes. Shipped in a very protective box complete with styrafoam to protect the bench. Piece of overpriced junk! Seriously...broke within 2 days from receiving it. I bought this bench to place in my closet to sit and put our shoes on or to sit and undress at the end of the day. Well, two days later, 1 leg broke and I fell right on my butt. I am only 140lbs and my husband is 182lbs. No reason why it should break. Definitely NOT worth the $100+ we paid. Don't waste your time or money unless you just want it for an entryway or to put decorative pillows on it. Now I have to fetch the broken up cardboard box out of my recycling bin, reconstruct the box, package it and haul it to a UPS store. What a pain! Too bad i didn't read all the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this bench! It is very sturdy and was super easy to assemble, just screw the legs onto the base! The color is true to the photo, I purchased the forest green bench, and the legs look to be a heavy duty metal painted brass. Great product for the price!

I’m not sure why other reviews are saying the fabric is not black? It’s definitely black! It’s a beautiful chenille like fabric. It’s light weight and extremely comfortable. I definitely recommend!
