Very pricey for what turns out to be a mere non-cooling fan. The product's description is completely misleading. To begin with, it's a 2-in-1 not 3-in-1, then it's 28in high and not 32in as stated in the description. And last but not least, there is absolutely NO cooling whatsoever. You can hear the water dripping quite loudly though — I have two other fans running at the moment and can still hear the dripping. I turned mine on over 6 hours ago and had to refill it twice. It was 91°F then, and it still is 91°F now. My "regular", much cheaper, fans are a lot more powerful and work way better. If I could give this 0 star I would. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your money.

Back in the 50's - 60's this kind of device was offered to the public with the same claims that this one has. In those days air conditioning was not as prevalent as it is today so folks bought the idea of using refrigerated water and ice in an evaporating device and compared to nothing but a fan, it was welcome. However, that form of "air conditioning" really can't compare with the real thing and this one is too little to do much more than move the air around. A rather expensive fan is what we have here. I only got this one for that purpose, to move the air around in a confined space, which is does do. As for the remote, almost useless as it has no distance to it, you might as well use the controls on the machine because that's about how close you need to be to make the remote work.

I think people leaving bad reviews are confused about what a swamp cooler does vs an ac. This unit is perfect for my massage business. It is an added cool boost to the ac because the treatment room has a lot of heat elements in it (hot towel warmer, rugs, heating pad in the table). This unit has been perfect for my clients. I also find adding ice is better than the ice packs because as the cubes melt they replenish the water supply in the tank. So before you get mad about this product, recognize what it's function actually is. Its a solid product for a cool boost to a single room.

Please do not buy this if you goal is too cool down a room. Even when in "cool mode" which required you to use ice packs.... it only works if you stand directly in front of it. And even then, it just pushes air around. If that is your goal.... save your money and buy a regular fan.

Will not power on. Cord is not damaged. I have switched outlets several times. Read entire manual several times. Researched online to see if anyone else had this issue. Can't find anything about it. This is extremely disappoining considering I live in FL and was looking forwwrd to this item!

The fan was not as good as our little one. Hardly felt it when we put it in the bedroom. For a unit this big it does not have the power as our little portable bedstand one. Not happy with it at all.

I was disappointed with this, my room gets extremely hot and a normal fan wouldnt work at all, its the same case with this fan, it blows cold air for no more than a hour then it just blows hot air after, doesnt cool the room at all, and i have a small room
