I recently started working out and moved to the Northeast from the deep South. I needed a layer to wear under my puffy coats on winter days when headed to the gym in the AM and something for fall runs. It fits beautifully, is warm, and has a mesh flap under the arms so it doesn’t get super stuffy. Only cons are that the back phone pocket is actually quite large and the fabric is lightweight.. so the phone drags the jacket down in the back and gives it a funny look when walking. When running (or moving at any pace faster than a stroll) anything in the back pocket will jiggle and move around obnoxiously. I’ve found the inner front pockets much more useful for holding things — usually my keys, headphones, and cellphone. I also find that it holds onto smells a bit, so it needs to be washed more regularly than some of my other jackets made of more windbreaker/performance/compression material. I will probably just buy a second one to put in rotation for when one is in the wash. ... show more

Absolutely perfect if you ride in cold weather areas. Thumb-holes keep sleeves in place when stretching arms out for hunt/jump, etc work & work fine with riding gloves. Zipper pockets keep small items from falling out, esp if you ride/train with an ear-piece & have a little receiver. I like this brand and am usually a small in the other workout tops but had to get a medium in this one for the right fit. Maybe because I out it over other shirts but the medium is more comfortable. Perfect for hiking during hunting season, high visibility and surprisingly warm.

I had never heard of this company when I ordered the jacket and I assumed it was a company based in China and sizes would be small. I was wrong. While the product is made in China, the company operates out of California. Order your normal size. I have since bought several BaLeaf products as they are a quality item for a good price. The leggings are to die for! This jacket in orange is a bold orange…Halloween orange, which was perfect because I hike in Idaho during hunting season and didn’t want to be mistaken for a deer. The jacket is comfortable, doesn’t “swish” when walking, has thumb holes, a huge back zip pocket and is warm. At first I was disappointed there are no zippers on the side pocket, but actually easy access for tissue, gum, etc is nice and there is that massive back zip pocket for any valuables. And my phone fits in those innovative leggings pockets. Did I say how awesome those leggings are? LOL. Anyway, I’m impressed with the quality of BaLeaf. ... show more

UPDATE: Received the larger size, jacket works very well. Nice and warm, just what I had hoped. It’s 47 degrees F this morning, and i was comfortable taking a short walk. I feel like it would work for a longer walk/activity as well. It’s a bit big in the waist area, and slightly snug around the hips. Arms are long enough so the thumb opening is very comfortable. I recommend this jacket, but if you are curvy, size up. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Jacket feels great, soft and medium warmth. Arms and bust fit well, a little loose in the waist area, and a little tight in the hips. Will try 1 size up and hope the fit is better. ... show more

I couldn't be happier and will be purchasing one for my sister for Christmas as well as 2 more for myself. The fit is perfect especially for hourglass figures and runs true to size I'm 5'3" and 118lbs and purchased an x-small. I like a snug, contured fit and live in a southern climate where I don't need to wear anything underneath. So take that into account. But even with broad shoulders this fits like a glove. Paired with my fleece lined leggings my outdoor runs in the winter are going to be protected and warm. I think I'm going to check out a fleece lined face mask. ... show more

This jacket is like your favorite soft shirt and wind breaker had a baby...Fit is perfect. Lining is thin but so incredibly soft. I was looking for something that was heavier than a shirt, but thinner than a jacket, and this fits the bill. I'm 5'7", 135, 36 C and the Medium is perfect. It blocks the wind nicely and the fit is quite flattering. Just wish the hand pockets had zippers. The back zipper pocket is great though, and quite large. 7.5" wide at the opening, 10" wide at the bottom near the hem, 8" tall. Hope this helps someone. ... show more
