I don't know about sheerness for these. To me sheer means transparent to some extent and these are nice and thick. Stretchy. I bought these specifically for the length, as I needed something literally TO the knee for coverage under skirts with splits at the back. As some of us know (iykyk), if you sew up the split you cannot walk. As we may also know, skirts are hard to find, so you make due with what you have access to. We make a way to make what we have work. These long shorts are perfect, and also comfortable. My daughter likes them. Plus, pockets! Useless to us, as we don't wear them for working out or anything, but I know some will find that beneficial. Very good product. A little pricey, but well made, so...You get what you pay for, I guess. These capris are very nice. They come just below my knees and fit well.....the waist is high .... I like it because holds me in a bit and no muffin top!!!!I I ordered the black/white together and the white has enough body and does not show a panty line as most do. They have a good weight but still cool. They are soft and I do like the pockets. I am about to order more colors. I recommend them!!!! True to size.... ... show more

These capris end right below my knee versus and few inches lower like regular capris. They look like long shorts but that works for me as I'm in my late 60's. When I first wore them, the cotton was polished and nice looking. After the first wash they lost that fabric polish and looked like regular cotton. They stretched a little after several washings, but I think that's to be expected as they are cotton not Lycra. They were true to size. I'm 5'6" and 155# and bought the extra-large. They are a nice medium weight fabric for summer and definitely not sheer. They did not shrink noticeably after being in the dryer. I bought the longer capris and wear them much less frequently to keep them looking brand new. I'm happy with them and they are very comfortable. ... show more

This color, the tan and white, needed to be a little darker. But I love the quality, comfort and style of these. I like the high waist when doing Pilates. It keeps my belly covered and is comfy. Could flatter the tush a bit more. I have it in every other color and live them.

I’ve been wearing Bayleaf’s fleece lined leggings all winter & I love them so much I wondered how I’d adjust to life without them in the summer. These capris are the answer!!! The fabric is lightweight, soft, stretchy & comfy. Like a second skin. And the pockets are slim & flattering but still deep enough to hold my essentials. I hate to carry a purse & now I don’t have to. I put these capris thru the bend over test & even shined a flashlight on my booty —they’re not at all see thru. I bought them in black & will definitely purchase other colors. According to Bayleaf’s size chart. I should wear a small. But their extra small leggings fit me best. I found this to be true with the winter fleece lined leggings and these lightweight capris as well. ... show more
