Used as a mountain biking shell to protect my more expensive cycling bibs. These are light, stretch easily & fit me great in a Size Large. The sizing chart suggested XL for me, but the Lg. still had a relaxed fit. I'm 5'9" & 210-lbs. with thicker legs & closer to a 38" waist. Zero leg & groin area restrictions on or off the bike. Tested on 3 MTB rides. They're so light & unrestrictive that I forget I'm wearing them during the ride. They probably won't be as durable in a crash (yet to be determined), but at one-fourth of the cost of specific MTB shells, they're way more cost effective. They fit me better too & caused less hang ups on the saddle. Added benefit: They blend in better during any post-ride pub crawls or lunch stops.

They are comfortable to wear around the house on the hot days - I'm not really a shorts kind of guy but sometimes in the summer long pants are just too uncomfortable. My only regret is Amazon recommended a 3x but i still went with my usual 2x and the elastic band eels a little tight now.

These are nice cargo shorts. The material is 91% Polyester, 9% Spandex, and is light weight. There is some stretch to the material, but not much. The fit is fairly relaxed, so stretch-ability is not really necessary. The shorts move freely and loosely as you walk and with the light weigh fabric, they should be very comfortable for a long hike. I typically order a medium for shorts and pants, which I did for these and they fit well. The shorts are pull-on, with an elastic waistband and a drawstring for added "security". There's no fly. 5 pockets total. 2 side pockets, which are deep so things shouldn't slide out. 1 zip pocket on the right leg, I appreciated the zipper for security. 1 cargo pocket with a flap, I would have liked the flap to have Velcro; and 1 back pocket which I would have liked to have had a zipper. The shorts are water resistant and quick dry. These shorts seem well made and based on other BALEAF clothes I own, they should last a long time. Overall, these are very nice cargo shorts and they have my recommendation.
