Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like this product because it's easy to read the temp and easy to find the thermometer in the pool due to the floating turtle top. 2 things I don't like about are: 1. The turtle had some kind of film covering that quickly flaked off and got sucked up by my pool vac. 2. If you toss this in the pool sometimes it the weighted bottom doesn't take and the thermometer lies on it's side. You have to tip it down for the thermometer to drop in the water so it's perpendicular to the pool bottom. ... show more

The small size doesn’t get in the way off swimming or playing. The thermometer is easy to read and the turtle is fun. String broke almost immediately, but didn’t bother me.
