Very pleased. Great value. The weights were all in great shape. The bar was simply screw together, no holes so no pins needed. So no alignment issues. Because of the aforementioned issues I had already ordered another solid bar. Only thing as others mentioned the packaging needs to be stronger. Buy it for the weights. I read a few reviews before I bought this almost all complaining about the barbell itself. I can see why. It is a 2 piece which already isn't great, it weighs about 8 pounds but the biggest problem is that it is hard to put together and even after hammering the pieces into the barbell they wouldn't go all the way through. However, I give this product 4 stars because all the weights are accurate, and the spring clips work very well. After checking prices $60 for spring clips and an 100lbs weight set is a good price. Would highly recommend buying a different bar though. ... show more

Just what i wanted for a simple weight set. Great price for 100lb set. My only complaint, is as with other reviews, is that the pins don't fit to put bar together. Even with a mallet hammer. Simple fix. We simply placed 2 bolts/nuts and wrapped with electric tape (simply to cover).

I think this barbell set is a great value, in that its total cost is what I would normally expect to pay someone just to deliver a 100 lb package to my door. It did, however, come with the same bar-hole problems other customers have commented on. I covered the bar along the sides of the holes with layers of duct tape, to protect it from damage while hammering. I recommend hearing protection (ear plugs, headphones etc) because the sound of hammering metal-on-metal is very loud. (My phone recorded it as 98 decibels.) I used a screw (shown in my photos) to loosen up the holes of the outer bar just a bit, and had to clear away the metal shavings that were created. I was able to get 1 bolt in securely, but the second bolt was impossible because the holes were so mis-aligned. (I โ€œpushedโ€ that bolt back out by hammering with the screw from the other side.) ... show more

But to the manufacturer seal the weight better, the fill hole came busted on mine and there was dirt everywhere. Yes dirt not sand or concrete it's dirt inside. But for the price all good just seal it better.

Weights look decent but the bar seems kinda sketchy... Pins are barely held in by gravity... If this thing comes apart and smashes my face because of poor craftsmanship you might be hearing from a lawyer one day ๐Ÿคท no threats just saying...
