The media could not be loaded. This is a quality package! I am a long time certified scuba diver with many dives, but my old mask is just too questionable in its age to count on, and we also got a set of these for my wife who is not a diver. Our plans to use these in a trip to the Caribbean has not worked out as yet, however looking these over at home, I would say they are quality built with materials you would expect. The fins are firm, the mask is soft, the mouthpiece of the snorkel is just right. I read some reviews on the fin clips that were not so favorable, but I found what I received to be very sturdy and clip in solid, maybe things have changed, I would say things can be a lot more hectic on a bouncing boat or trying to put these on hopping around. I always wear some kind of socks with my fins for rubbing / chafing, of course these are baby fins compared to my scuba fins, but I am so looking forward to the comfort and ease of a smaller fin. I am a size 11 foot and these will easily accommodate a larger foot than mine.

This snorkel mask set is light and comes with a small mesh bag, which is convenient for storage and transport. The construction is good, and the set includes everything that you will likely need. One notable aspect is the snorkel itself, which is made of silicone instead of cheap plastic. This is a welcome feature as silicone tends to offer better durability and comfort. The use of silicone for the snorkel and the decent quality glass lens are definite advantages. However, this set is probably not sufficient for SCUBA Diving. The mask, although great for snorkeling, seems unlikely to withstand the high pressures of deep diving for an extended amount of time. The fins (they are not called flippers) are adequate for recreational snorkeling, are a bit too short for SCUBA or for deep diving. For recreational use on vacation, this set is a great choice, especially when considering that price point. If you are going SCUBA Diving, or diving under challenging conditions, you will likely need to make more of an investment in your equipment.

Recently tested these out in hawaii and they it is a fantastic set. I have wide feet and always have issues with fins causing my feet to ache after a long time wearing them, however these were awesome! So comfortable on my feet! And they aren't giant, as my wife was able to wear them as well. The fin adjustment was easy for my to tighten and loosen, and the release buckles are a nice feature. The fins are short and don't have a ton of kicking power, but they are great for a little boost while swimming. Apparently someone on the beach was making fun of my mask given the rectangular shape (seriously, who makes fun of someone's snorkeling mask?!). Well, they're idiots, because the rectangular shape made for awesome visbility and viewing of the fish. Compared to rounded shape masks, I love the rectangle. The snorkel intially felt a little cheap to me compared to a couple other sets we have, but I ended up liking this the best. It allows for use on either side of my head and worked great. Overall, I am so happy with this set and would recommend.

This overall set is a good value and good quality. The flippers and snorkel are great. The mask/goggles are a bit odd sized and doesn't fit as comfortable as others I've worn, they're just a bit awkward, but it may be a better fit for your head.

I ordered this set to help me with my lap swimming. I had no problem with the mask and snorkel, but, I did, and continue to have issues with the fins. Here are the plusses regarding the fins. The fins are the right size for lap swimming. Not too long, not to short. And the open toe make them easy to put on in the pool. The buckled straps have finger pulls which make them easy to snug up on the heel. Functionally, they are really a great training tool for newbie swimmers like me. There is no issue with releasing the strap from the fin. You just squeeze the side snaps and the buckle releases from the fin. But here's the problem. I like to loosen the ribbed strap so that I can snug them up the next time I want to use them. And that's the issue. It is very difficult to loosen the straps once they are tightened. At first, I tried to lift up the buckle like a seat belt, but I found that the buckle would not lift. I tried to use some force, but I felt that the plastic might break. My wife even suggested I use a screwdriver to pry the buckle up. Finally, I assumed they were defective, so I asked Amazon for a replacement. The replacement was just as difficult as the original. Eventually, I figured out that maybe the buckle is not supposed to lift, instead if you want to loosen the straps you've got to pull up the buckle up slightly and pull the straps out backwards somewhat forcefully. To be honest, I could not and cannot not figure out why these heel straps are so hard to loosen. If there's an easier way to loosen the strap, then the makers should have explained in the instructions how this is done. It shouldn't have to be this difficult.

I honestly have no idea why I ever considered renting snorkeling gear instead of just having my own. I suppose it didn't feel like I did it enough, or I didn't want to haul it with me on vacation, and somehow renting just seemed easier, but it really isn't. You truly have NO idea who's used the stuff before you and I have very serious doubts about the effort put into cleaning the gear. The price point of this set is great because you don't have to feel like you're making this huge commitment to the equipment, and the price of renting has gone up so much that truly it's a win with just one use. Comfortable, flexible, and east to adjust.
