As a first time snorkeler, I wanted something that would provide the most comfortable and enjoyable experience. I didn't want the traditional snorkel because I didn't want to clamp my mouth and teeth around something. And, I don't like the idea of having to breathe through my mouth because I am accustomed to breathing through my nose. I used this twice on our cruise and each time it provided a fantastic experience! When I began my research, I had considered the full-face mask but then read about breathing complications related to CO2. I did come across one or two with newer technology to address that concern, but I decided against the full-face mask because I didn't want to take the risk of not being able to use it if I were on a snorkel tour (someone mentioned that while in Hawaii, the tour company would not allow full-face masks). With those two options above eliminated, it led me to this unique mask, and I am extremely pleased that I purchased it! When you first receive it, I recommend trying it on and dipping your face into a full bathtub or swimming pool to get the ideal fit to ensure that it doesn't leak and that it will be comfortable for you. Better to do this ahead of time than to be sorry during your trip. FIT: I did not have any leaking whatsoever, but I did cinch up the straps pretty tight just to be safe. As others have mentioned, the mask does put some pressure on the top lip of your mouth. But I just popped my head up occasionally and readjusted it a bit. For me, that slight bit of discomfort (i.e. pressure on my lip) was 100% worth it! I have a very small head and face and found the small size to fit just fine. NOTE: Because the snorkel feature is at the top of the mask, it can be a bit challenging to put on by oneself. I found it easier to have my husband hold up the plastic snorkel piece while I put the mask on. VISION: I was able to see through the mask great! It provides a full, unobstructed view of everything. However, on the second time I used it, I dunked it into the water and didn't dry the inside of it out prior to using, so that resulted in a tad degree of fogging up. But if I had taken the time to dry it out like I had the day prior, then it would've been fine. BREATHING: I was able to breath completely normal through my nose in this mask. It was a great feeling to just pop out of the water and open my mouth without having to remove something. COMPACT: The mask comes with a small carrying bag and breaks down into a few different pieces, making it extremely compact to travel with. And, it is simple to put together for use. FINAL THOUGHTS: This mask gave me a fantastic snorkeling experience and I look forward to using this so much more on future trips! I don't think I could ever use any other mask - it's that great! NOTE: This comes with a camera mount but I did not use it.

Have been using it regularly for 3+ months once or twice a week. I just use it to float face down against the current (beachfront) and it works great. It does leak a little but it's ok, I just have to reset it every 5-10min.

This mask worked well on my trip to Mexico. It folded up fairly easily for travel, and I was able to breath easily through my nose. My only complaints were that it is a bit hard to pull apart after using (it's only "foldable" after disassembling) and even the small size was too large for my face, which wouldn't be a problem for most people. I would recommend.

I am a long time snorkeler and scuba diver. I decided to try this, just because it’s different and inexpensive. I live it. To be able not to have a snorkel in my mouth and breathe through my nose was amazing!

I have been diving since 1976. I like the idea of surfacing and not immediately having to switch to a snorkel, so I thought I would try these out because of the reviews. I am using them on Sunday the 14th of may, I will follow up. If they are as good as others say, I can say this, the silicone is as good as any mask I have owned, there is one major flaw though, they are not glass! I would be willing to pay 3 times as much if they were glass, and they would have a good potential of targeting scuba divers, but not with plastic. If you ever had an acrylic fish tank, it will scratch even from the sand bed, I expect this mask to do the same. I hope the company takes note and will consider the next gen. Coming with glass. I will follow up and state my honest assessment. There is a chance that since the mask is close to the eyes, as compared to say , looking at a fish tank, the focal point will blur out any fine scratches and the question becomes mute. Follow Up; My experience may not be your experience. I did get fogging, and leaking. I have a small face, so this may not occur in a regular adult male. I got a small mask, so a child may have the same issue. I got water in the nasal part, and unlike a regular snorkel, you can’t just blow out the water, having water going into the nasal area was very disconcerting. I don’t recommend this mask for a scuba diver, but perhaps you will have a better experience, but in may take some getting used to, for a beginner, it may be easier as you have not grown accustomed to breathing through the mouth. Don’t forget your anti-fog gel.
