I've been a mechanic and carpenter since the 1980s. These pliers are excellent. Far superior to the Channellocks I grew up with. These adjust easily and lock on well. I've bought two more pair, one for the car and one for my plumbing box. I also have Knipex Cobras which are great, but I actually find these easier to adjust and a much better deal.     • I love the Big Mouth Pliers
I love these pliers. They are very easy to adjust, fit most anything, and have a very good, very solid grip. Bahco is a great brand and I love their products. The only fault of these pliers, however, is they won't work too well on things of a small diameter. They tend to slip off when too much force is applied or round off edges on stubborn bolts. If you don't have a socket wrench handy and you try to use these to remove a hex head bolt or something that is flush on a wall, or worse off - recessed, you will start carrying a socket wrench or at least an adjustable wrench around with you. But that is not what these are designed to do, so, it is not really any fault of the tool. If the head were a little slimmer it might work better, but then it wouldn't work as well for big stuff. They work great on just about anything else though. If even used 'em as a pipe wrench to fix a shower once. Overall, I would definitely buy these again and recommend them to friends. ... show more

So much easier to use than channel locks. Its a one hand operation which is great! It has a spring detent feature which is great in which it recoils or flares out to the open position when ever you let go. Much lighter weight than channel locks. Easier to use than knipex's push button design and finger flip design. Bacho makes these two kinds also but this one is the best in terms of usage. PS Only people who dont know how to use tools properly get their hands pinched. You control the tool, dont let it control you. ... show more

Very nice. Jaws open up wide and the serrations on the jaws haven’t gotten disfigured and worn out. Had a hard time finding a pair of pliers that didn’t wear out fast. I carry them at least 48 hours a week. Have held up very good with how hard I abuse them. Very good quality. Would recommend
