Love the multiple zippers that have leather tags on them....we all like the extra compartments, but hate trying to find the multiple zippers. These have colorful leather tags on end of zippers to find easily, make it look great, hideaway straps when don't want to have straps, multiple 'mini' storage bags, zips well and evenly...looks great...really like bag

I drive a bus, have a huge backpack of random things I carry just in case. I also carried a laptop bag. I bought this bag to combine the two. It fit two backpacks worth of stuff and my laptop, tablet, and ridiculous amount of battery packs and random junk great. My bag has weight to it and I didn't feel the bag was sturdy enough to support the sheer weight I carry around daily on trips across the country, the zipper felt like it had early wear already. But this bag was GREAT and huge and so comfortable to wear. Today, a cargo bay door latch failed and my 3 week old bag, completely full, flew out of the bus at 72 MPH. My laptop survived perfectly, a testament to this bag. It isn't perfect, but it damned well did its job. The laptop and everything in the bag are in great shape. The bag itself is now trash with horrid road rash and torn apart zippers, but the bag saved me a lot of replacement costs for electronics and stayed shut for the entire roll down I-80.

I purchased two of these for a recent trip in which my airline only allowed a backpack unless you paid an additional fee. Although I had other backpacks, they were all inadequate for travel packing. Most were either heavily padded to protect laptops and thus not allowing room for clothes or were very basic. This backpack fit my needs perfectly. It had a large inner walled area which was perfect for packing clothes and personal items. A padded and roomy pouch for an ipad or laptop was provided and several other pockets for incidentals. The backpack straps can be tucked away if not used and there were carrying straps for either vertical or horizontal carrying. Although we bought the inner "box" packages, we did not use them. The backpack also came with a shoe bag which kept our dirty shoes from the rest of our clothing. There was a side pouch for a water bottle (fit our Contigo) and I appreciated the extra strap to ensure it was secure. I also liked the snap straps on the sides that helped flatten out the depth. There was also a horizontal strap for across the chest to keep the shoulder straps tight if desired. All in all, this was a very well designed and practical backpack for the traveler. Both my wife and I were suitably impressed. I don't often review products but this one warranted my time.

I bought this on a whim for an Alaskan trip and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. I stuck 3 days worth of clothes for my wife and I and some additional electronics items in the large pocket. The packing cubes were a definite plus. The outside pockets were adequate but could maybe use a little better organization or feature inside. To be fair. I overstuffed the crap out of it, so my laptop was a little bit difficult to get in and out, but that was more my fault. A bonus for having the security pocket on the backpack side and I actually stuck my tablet in the zipper pocket where the straps are stored. I like the cinch straps on the side that help compress the pack and the extra zipper that allowed you to expand the pack. It was comfortable to wear even as overweight as I made it. It was very durable and didn't suffer any effects from my 8-day trip on a small cruise trip and the airport. Even packed as much as I did. It still fitting in the overhead bin.
