I grew up in the days of using paper bags as book covers, and the era of the basically indestructible Jansport backpacks. But now that we live in the internet age, it was time to get a backpack that could safely hold my laptop among other things. The first thing that caught my attention is the color - the sage green shade is one of my favorites and I was thrilled to get a backpack in this hue. The second thing I noticed was how light it is. It doesn't take up much space, but it has plenty of padding and makes me feel secure enough to trust that it'll protect my laptop and other items. There is a padded pouch in the back that can fit my MacBook Air, my iPad, or any of my other electronic device securely. It has padding on both sides, and the back of the backpack is mesh and breathable. There are pockets throughout - one for a laptop, one opposite that to secure items, and two separate pockets on the front, one of which has two inner pockets for pens, styluses, or other items you might want to keep apart from the rest of your things. The back is padded with a mesh overlay, keeping my back cool when I use this, and it has a stretchy pocket on the side for a water bottle. The straps are padded as well, and I love that a strap comes all the way around from the back and snaps to secure the backpack and prevent anyone from sneaking anything out of it. I will absolutely be using this to carry my laptop around and for short excursions. I love that I can safely store my laptop or tablet and still have room to put clothes, papers, books, or anything I need to bring when getting away for a day or two.

This review is for Bagstellar Laptop Backpack for Women, Puffer, selling for $32.99 at the time of my review. I am quickly becoming a huge fan of Bagstellar products! This is my third or fourth. I've lost count. Each is well constructed. Each is ample. Each is awesome. Each is both beautiful AND functional ... it's a one, two punch. This back-pack is no exception. I love it and I haven't even used it for it's true function ... yet ... and will when I return to college. How do I love it? Let me count the ways ... 1) Padded wide straps 2) Five zippered compartments, one is hidden, one is inside 3) Five non-zippered compartments and/or pockets, one deep and large and on the inside, two on the outside for bottles (both bottle compartment have a strap to securely fasten bottles into place), and two cell-phone size inside one of the zippered compartments 4) All the lining in all of the compartments are water resistant for easy cleaning 5) The sage color is gorgeous 6) It's really roomy 7) It's well constructed and it's sturdy. What I do not like in any design of any product is if the designer never really used them in real life. Like some vacuum cleaners have awkward placing of the cords, or my iPhone has a button on the side where I keep inadvertently turning the thing off. It should be placed on the top! Anyhoo, I feel as this backpack was designed by a student who understands the specific needs of students who use backpacks regularly. BRAVO Bagstellar for another job well done!

This is a better backpack for the price than I'd imagined! When I saw mention of a 15.6" laptop I thought the bag would be slimmer, and was completely wrong - I misunderstood one of the images in the product listing. If you put a laptop in the main compartment instead I think it will fit a 16" easily even if the laptop is in it's own lightweight sleeve to protect it. One of the photos shows a 15.6" that I carry a lot in the main compartment and there is a lot more room for books, notes, food and so on. It's also roomy enough for spare clothes, and for use as an overnight bag. The sewing is good, and the zippers are securely inserted. They're not particularly heavyweight or rugged, like a backpack you might take on expeditions and adventures, but it's not that type of backpack and I don't think they're an issue for everyday use. There were a few loose threads, but if you were holding it in a store you might pull them out and buy it anyway. There is a care label sewn inside indicating that it can be machine washed and hung in the shade to dry, great for a bag that will probably get a lot of use. The bottom doesn't have any reinforcement or feet to protect it against wet or dirty surfaces, and in the end that's the reason for removing one star from the rating. So if you're travelling on trains or subways, or through wet or snowy weather, you might need to watch where you set it down. Otherwise, it looks durable, the color is perfect and easy to spot, and it's a great buy around 30$.

I am absolutely in love with this backpack! The quilted puffer material is super soft, trendy, and gives it a chic, high-end look without feeling bulky. Little things really do impress me. This company wrapped this puffer backpack in a dust cover. The backpack totally deserves that. It's great marketing but it also shows me the company takes pride in their products. Puffer backpacks have become wildly popular not only amoung students but professionals as well. They vary just as wildly in price and quality . This Bagstellar Laptop Backpak checks all the boxes without breaking the bank. It falls into the feather weight category weighing in at slightly more than 1lb. Backpack is large enough to hold a 15" laptop and a few changes of clothes in the main compartment. There are 3 additional varying sized zippered compartments. All hardware is black and blends in nicely. The bag features horizontal quilted channels giving it the puffer esthetic. Material is a strong lightweight polyester with reinforced stitching. Zippers glide easily making additions or removals quick and efficient. I almost forgot to mention there are side pockets large enough to accommodate that giant eco-friendly water bottle. I really can't say enough about it. It's attractive, well made, affordable and extremely functional. It also adapts to travel excursions fitting nicely on a luggage handle and under seats. Adjustable back straps are well padded for comfort. Job well done Bagstellar!

This is a good, low-key backpack with a useful division of pockets. Inside, there's a padded compartment at the back for your laptop. It has an elasticated panel to keep your computer in place. Across from that id a zippered pocket that will safely hold your Kindle or other tablet, or a small notebook or planner, a paperback -- or a collection of stuff you want to corral together. In between these two pockets is a large compartment that can hold your books. The outside has a zippered pocket on the front which can hold all the little things you need to carry. It has two phone-sized pockets. Each side has a water bottle pocket. I like the fact that everything can be contained securely -- nothing is likely to fall out. The color is olive green, suitable for men or women, boys or girls. It has padded straps. All the hardware works smoothly.

This backpack probably isn't going to win any awards for premium materials or design, but for the price it's an excellent bag. It's lightweight, has enough room for a laptop and the usual school or travel essentials, and feels practical without being overly bulky. The construction is fairly basic, so I wouldn't expect it to compete with backpacks that cost several times more, but that's also not really the point. If you just need an affordable everyday backpack for college, work, or travel, this offers a lot of functionality for the money.

This Puffer 15.6" Computer Back Pack is an absolute gem! From the moment I got it, I was impressed by its overall design.
