I bought this based on the great reviews, and it is a perfect backpack for me. It fits under the airline seat and is as large as is allowed to meet the qualifications for a "personal item". It has the right # of zippers and pockets without overdoing it. I was able to put things in the back pocket that I might need on the plane and everything else in the front. I have a medium size canvas pocketbook and it fits inside along with a lot of other miscellaneous items. It is wonderful quality and worth the price. The straps are comfortable even when the bag is fully packed, and I appreciate the sleek design that doesn’t look bulky. That said, my main disappointment is that the packing cubes, which were supposed to be included, were missing from my order. One of the reasons I chose this backpack was because it came advertised with those cubes to help with organization, so it was frustrating to receive only the backpack. I used this backpack to put in my heavy luggage that I couldn’t fit into my checked bag for my past 5 flights. It may look flimsy at first glance, but I want to say it fits a lot more than a standard backpack, and I stuffed it with my metal table decoration kit which I would say is about double the weight of a typical backpack full of textbooks.
