I've been using this bag for just over a week, and I absolutely love it. The bag itself is lightweight (thanks, nylon!). I love that the laptop pocket is on one side of the bag and that the pocket has enough room to fit a notebook and other papers. There are a lot of functional pockets in practical places, so I'm not spending time looking for something. I use this as my purse, even if I'm not carrying my laptop, because I was tired of frequently having my purse and a bag. I have no issues carrying everything I need for the day, and I'm so glad I purchased this bag. The color (I got the purple color) makes a boring laptop bag a little more fun and feel less like just a business bag. The exterior side pockets fit my chunky 32 oz water bottle (which is more than I was expecting), but it can get snug with my 15" work laptop (it's easier to put my bottle in the pocket, then put my laptop in the bag, but it's still doable if I have the laptop in the bag already). I haven't traveled with this yet, but love that one of the outside pockets unzips to fit over luggage handles. It makes all the difference lugging a laptop through the airport. Large with lots of room inside. I use mine as my personal item on airplanes. I got this size because it is exactly right for the requirements for British Airways. It is a little smaller than allowed for other US based airlines, but it is plenty big and there should be no problems if you find yourself faced with a measurement issue. ... show more

All right, so this bag is useful for me, and I like it. Pros: -Lightweight -Lots of pockets -Has a professional look Cons: -The bag is measured at 12 inches tall, but the zipper is recessed about 1.5 inches lower than the top of the bag. That means that useable space is reduced. -Laptop compartment is only padded on one side. The back of the bag is not padded. I wouldn't use it without a sleeve on a laptop, but because of the recessed zipper, laptop inside sleeve won't fit. So I put my laptop in the main compartment of the bag, and my charger and other accessories on the padded section. It's not perfect, but it does serve the purpose for me, at least for now. ... show more

It has enough zippered pockets to keep things organized and secure. It seems to be made to the Baggallini standard, so should last many trips to come. The organization of this tote is better than I expected. The outside side pockets are roomy and easily fit my large smartphone and 20 ounce Yeti. I use this as an everyday purse. The inside is roomy enough for the occasional documents or tablet too. The zipper on the sleeve for the luggage handle tends to make its way open making it not a secure place to use for putting items of value. The only reason I have not given this tote a 5 star rating is the quality of the workmanship. The seam on an outside pocket has become unstitched and the nylon strap is unraveling.
