The hardest part of assembly was getting it out of the box. Packed very well and arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. Assembly took only a matter of minutes. Batteries arrived charged but we followed the directions for the initial charge anyway. My grandson rides to his heart's content and has never run out of charge. Being a stereotypical, he has fallen a couple of times with nothing more than a couple of scratches for the bike or himself. Great bike, great seller! This things runs perfectly, and it is very fast. We live in a HOA and neighbors complain about kids on the gas ones so this would be your next in line for something that is comparable to a small gas one.

My 9 year old has been begging me for a dirt bike, and there was no way I was getting him a gas powered one! Santa brought this one for Christmas, and it is PERFECT! This was an excellent starter motorcycle for my 6 year old son. Pros: *No Gas/Carbs/Plugs to maintain *No Hot parts that can burn *Can go as fast as you really want a 6 year old to go. Maybe even a bit too fast. *Decent run time Cons: *The throttle is basically just an On/Off switch which is not good for beginners. This is the single biggest issue but can be fixed with aftermarket controller and throttle. *No Suspension which makes for a very bumpy ride off road. *Needs a bit more torque. An upgraded motor controller helped, but as stated before its almost too fast for a child. Razor should really do a sprocket change on these to reduce the top speed and get more torque for climbing hills. I am really nitpicking though. Overall its a great fun toy. ... show more

The bike frame and fenders were a lot more sturdy than I expected. More inline with an actual motor bike. We’ve only had the bike for a little over a month. My son rides it daily and the battery seems to be holding a full charge. My son is 7 and is about the right size for this bike. There’s no way this is intended for a 13 year old (recommended age) to ride comfortably. My 14 year old son tested it and looked like a clown riding a miniature bike. **UPDATE!! After lots of back and forth I was finally able to be a new motor sent to me from Razor. My son was so excited to finally ride his bday present after a long 4 month wait! The battery lasts about an hour and it’s the perfect size for him (6 year old). I’d recommend the bike but not Razor customer service.** Bought this dirt bike for my sons birthday in May. He still hasn’t ridden it. When I contacted the seller I was told to contact Razor directly rather than be able to exchange it. I’ve contacted Razor on three occasions now. They’ve sent me multiple parts but none of them have fixed the issue. When you turn the accelerator it just clicks. Very upset that I wasted the money! ... show more

I got this for my 6 year old boy for Christmas and he rides it everyday. So far the battery life has extended for at least an hour each day he has been on it. So I am very happy that we aren't constantly re-charging. It's only been 2 months, but it has been such a hit that his siblings will all likely want a dirt bike some time in the future.
