I decided to revisit my old pastime of golfing (which I took up back in the 90s when every kid back then wanted to be like a popular golfer back in the day) and I have been off the course for a while. The first time I was on the course in about 20 years I carried the clubs which made my first game brutal but then I purchased the Bag Boy XL push cart and it made a huge difference in my enjoyment of the game. It makes it so I can focus on my game and less on the physical aspect of it. The item arrived undamaged and I unboxed it. The assembly consisted of attaching the four wheels which just snapped on without the use of tools. However when folded if you are bringing the clubs with the cart, your golf bag and the folded cart will take up the entire trunk of a compact sedan which is the only setback. However it makes the game more enjoyable as I prefer to walk the course but I don’t enjoy carrying clubs. ... show more

I bought it because it reviewed at 4.8 stars. I play on a flat golf course. It was very easy to push, my most important criterion. Very stable on level ground. It's overpriced, but they all are. Mine has slight superficial cosmetic damage with a significant discount. It's an excellent bag cart.

This BagBoy Quad XL (in blue) replaced an old Sun Mountain whose plastic tab broke. It was an easy enough fix for the old Sun Mountain, replacement part would've only cost $12 BUT it would've cost $80-something to have it shipped to Hawaii ... no thank you to that! Instead decided to splurge on myself and get a new cart. I love love love the easy fold/unfold - fewer steps than my old cart. And it's so compact when folded, easily fits in the boot!! Out on the Course, it rolls great, is stable (read: doesn't get pushed over in the wind like some 3-wheeled carts do) and it has enough storage in the bag/card cubby for lots of little things for quick/easy use instead of rummaging through the bag for divot tools, markers, etc... It's also not heavy making it very easy to push/pull. The only thing I dislike about the cart is the umbrella holder which is in 2 pieces (1 screw and the umbrella holder itself) vs. the old Sun Mountain with the screw built in - I've decided to just leave the umbrella hold screwed and the cart still folds up nice without any issue. This is a great hand cart. The 4 wheels are a game changer and the hand brake is equally as good. The back nine of my home course has a lot of up hill down hill terrain. The cart stayed up right, and had no problem rolling through the rough. On a fairway or cart path it rolls very smooth and easy. I would recommend this all day and twice on Sunday! ... show more

This is great quality product and holds my bag great, my cart had actually taken a tumble down a huge hill and flipped over itself and it held together great, have a buddy with the same cart and his fell out his car on the highway and he still uses the same one cause it works great.
