I looked at a lot of carts and decided on the Nitron due to it's fold/unfold ease and simplicity of design. My home course is hilly and has a combination of paved and gravel paths so I did not want a swivel front wheel. The cart is so well balanced that maneuvering it with the fixed wheel is never a problem. It has wide wheels and a wide stance for stability on any grade and yet it folds down to a crazy small package. And as for the folding mechanism, well it opens and closes literally with one touch. No pushing, pulling, clicking, etc. When it does pop open (almost magically it seems) the cart is rock solid. The bag mounting system is stupidly simple but holds my bag firmly in place everywhere on the course. Why have overly complicated processes when you can get the job done quickly with no surprises or concerns? For the quality, looks, and ease of use this cart is a no-brainer value at the price. Frankly after using it a while I would consider it underpriced and I have never said that about any golf product I've purchased over my 40 years of playing. ... show more

The bag boy nitron is a near perfect golf push cart. Lightweight, easy to fold and unfold, rolls smoothly, and has ample storage. I bought this on Amazon Prime day for $219, which is also a fantastic deal for this cart. My bag is a Sun Mountain 4.5 and fits very well on this cart with no twisting. The straps are easy to use, and very secure. One tip I'd suggest is to add some type of dry lube (bike chain, dry powder teflon, etc) to the wheel bearings, and they will roll smoother. I only have two very minor gripes with this cart. 1) There are no tee holders/holes in the console (all the other bag boy carts have them, so leaving them out is a mystery). 2) The stock umbrella holder sucks, and the adjustable holder is an additional $30. The stock holder is too short and the diameter is too wide causing your umbrella to be very unstable. The bungie cord can be made to work if you tie a knot into it, and make it shorter. ... show more

For a long time, I had a two-wheeled pull cart. Getting older (77), it seemed like a three wheeled push cart would be better. And indeed it is: much less strain on your body, easier to push uphill. Very manoeuvrable. It holds a beverage, it says it holds an umbrella (I've never tried). Place for scorecard. A small netting where I place my driver head-cover. Larger and heavier than a two wheeler, but easily fits in car trunks -- two carts and two bags would work well, many more and it depends on your vehicle. And easy to open and shut. I obsessed about which golf push cart to buy for about a month. I read reviews and watched dozens of YouTube videos. I was convinced that I needed to have this one because of the ease of opening and closing because I'd seen and tried some other carts in the past and they were difficult. So...this push cart is a dream to open and close. It's really simple and it's faster than the carts from Sun Mountain or Costco that my friends have. But...after it's open, it's really the same as those other carts that cost half as much. And honestly, the amount of time you spend opening and closing the cart is hardly any at all. So it's not that big of a deal. On the plus side, I love how the cart feels. I love that the brake is a hand brake and not a foot brake. The pouch under the handle is a good size and easy to use. The tray on the top is nice as well. I wish it came with a larger gear bag to store a jacket like other carts that are less expensive. I don't have the Bagboy bag that has the integrated locking system, but my bag fits just fine on it and stays in place. Overall, I'm happy with this cart. It's built solid. I'd recommend it if you have the $300. If I did it over again though, I think I'd buy a different one and save $150. ... show more

Overall this is a good cart. Had a Sun Mountain v1 for many years but finally got to the point where repairs just weren’t worth it. The Sun Mountain was heavy, sturdy, more complicated to fold and had a solid bicycle style brake system whereas the Bag Boy is light, very easy to fold and load in the car, with a weaker braking system. I’m not fond of the accessory tray on the Bag Boy as the magnetic clasp isn’t strong enough and when you fold the cart up everything falls out. The wheels on the Bag Boy are plastic and don’t roll quite as well as the Sun Mountain but that is a trade off for the weight savings. I doubt the Bag Boy will last as long but the compactness, light weight, headcover holder and easy folding are great features ... show more

I did lots of research, Came down between Clicgear 4.0 and this one BagBoy Nitrogen. Ended up with BagBoy Nitrogen and I’m happy with it. Super easy to open and close. My friend bought the Clicgear 4.0. Not much of a difference between the two except it takes him longer to get his ready and to put away. I play golf in Colorado with lots of hilly courses. Even on a hill at an angle, I don’t have to worry about my golf bag from falling out because it grabs them really well so they don’t twist out. Like others have said, don’t put golf balls in the console Because they rattle around when you’re driving and one time when I was loading, The ball made the console open and I was chasing balls in the parking lot. The drink holder is great, but not insulated and it doesn’t fit large drinks But there is a little bag underneath the console where I could store bigger bottles. Haven’t used the phone holder yet and I’m waiting for an umbrella because they’re backordered. See you on the course, I’ll be the guy looking for my ball in the woods. ... show more
