It’s an undertaking to assemble, and you definitely need the space to lay everything out. This greenhouse was designed beautifully. Everyone who sees it are amazed at how nice it is . It is super sturdy ( especially compared to what you get at harbor freight) and worth every penny you pay for it. I read a few reviews that suggest sorting the parts out before you start and getting a hand to assemble. For sure take the time to sort the parts and put them in alphabetical order . Take your time and do one page at a time. I made a couple of errors but quickly figured it out before the next step. You can for sure put this together alone. I absolutely love this greenhouse and can’t sing it’s praises enough ... show more

The assembly instructions are clear and easy to follow, just pay attention to the pilot hole locations while assembling and this project will come together nicely. Okely dokely, this one's a doozy. It took me 4 days of on and off working on this and took my time to avoid mistakes. The directions weren't too bad. You do have to unpack all 8 box's and sort the pieces beforehand but probably better that way. I had 2 pieces broken upon arrival due to having a rough journey to it's destination. Customer service replied to my inquiry within an hour, on a Saturday... the parts arrived the following Tuesday. I'm happy with the quality of the structure and the accessories. Did the entire thing alone minus an extra hand putting the roof up. So no complaints here and would definitely recommend. ... show more

I have a few things I love about this and I have a few things I absolutely despise lol first off, I do love that it is cedar, but if you want your over $2000 greenhouse to last, I highly suggest staining and sealing it. Which we did and it took 14 hours. After letting it dry, we began the process. We learned quickly that the BILT app instruction was useful for most parts until we realized some parts were different than the actual paper instructions. So I would follow the paper book and the online BILT instructions the same time. Also when placing the sliding window parts, there are major gaps between the greenhouse and the windows. And this is with all the correct measurements. We’re going to have to figure out how to close those gaps. Now for the biggest pain that I have ever encountered in my life. I would rather peel potatoes for 15 hours straight, than peel the blue coating off of the roof trims. It is absolutely asinine. There has to be a better way to protect that during shipment, it took me 2 1/2 hours to peel the blue coating off of everything that needed to be peeled. Another awful experience was the roof slats. It doesn’t say to use a drill bit, but there’s no way we were getting the screws they asked to use through the metal slat and the poly windows. Overall, I think the actual greenhouse is of good value and the instructions were easy to follow through the BILT app, the paper instructions were extremely hard to follow the orientation of items. Causing us to redo a few things. If you decide to purchase this, I would say watch 1 million YouTube videos before going through. Make sure you have the right drill bits and you need probably 3 to 4 people, especially when placing the roof on. Just a ton of tedious steps that I feel it could’ve been done through the manufacturer. Especially for the price. ... show more

Just finished putting our Backyard discovery Willow Greenhouse together and it was actually fun to do. When we saw all the parts felt this was a task above our abilities - but this was one of the easiest projects we have ever done. Everything is better than I expected. Since we are not professional carpenters, we took out time and worked in small segments to keep down pressure. Took 2 weeks to finish and we finished to the last detail. We were vigilant at getting the foundation correct and level and then everything just fit as instructed in the manual. All of the hardware was top quality. The window was a bit tight at the bottom, but we got that fixed with a slight sanding. Door fit perfectly. Fan and louvers fit perfectly. Manual easy to follow and it works great now.
