This is a well made seat extender for a full sized truck with a crew cab and is easy to install in that instance. As the owner of a full sized truck with an extended cab I made it work for me after some modifications. Most of the extenders out there are made for cars and SUVs and aren’t wide enough for a full sized truck. The few that are made for trucks have the width but are too long front to back to fit an extended cab’s back seat. This item has that same problem, but because the support boards can be removed with a zipper they can be cut down to fit. I did that, cutting the two outside boards to fit to the front seats and the middle board a bit shorter to accommodate the center console. That gives you the support platform you need, but you have to fold under the excess cloth preventing you from using the rear anchors, plus you’ve got to fold under the side panels since the side zippers won’t line up either. It works for me, but a design that allowed adjustment or a purpose sized version for extended cabs would be better.

Love this much more from the original one I purchased somewhere else and had to return. This one with the solid bottom adds extra support and more room for my larger dogs, two Malinois, to move around and not fall on top of each other. I do wish the mesh divider was higher as my dogs can just step over it. Not sure if that's possible but would help. I had to instal a cage wall with a cut out for their heads but it stop them from jumping in the front seat. It is easy to vacuum and I am very happy with the strength and sturdiness. So far it seems very well constructed

The hard floor hammock is so much better than a loose/standard hammock. The dog can't fall. It's been great. This particular hammock seems really well made. The storage bag isn't anything great, but it's functional. Having a vent in the middle of the front side is very helpful because thats the only rear vent in my car. So far we've had this in a Toyota Highlander and a Dodge Charger. It fits perfectly in the Highlander, and just a little snug in the Charger but it works. The problem with the Charger was that it doesn't have moveable rear headrests, so I had to clip the strap to the car seat latch system instead. Personally I would have left the pockets out. I hold a water bottle for the dog in there, but honestly there's not much else you can put in there because the dog will get into them. Last thing... I wasn't sure this would actually do a 2/3 cover based on the pictures, but it actually does. You just have to fold the side underneath the middle. This allows you to have the seat crevice bar in the middle as well as the straps on the rear. If you don't have the headrest in the middle, I've either used the car seat latch or looped around one bar of the side's headrest. The only real problem with this setup is there's no way to hold the front corner up (the part with the mesh). If you tried to get the strap like you can in the rear, you end up blocking the mesh portion. This is only a minor complaint though because the front stays up well enough to be useable and the bottom is rigid enough it doesn't move (it's now double and has the seat crevice bar).

Works perfect in my 23 Ram crew cab but tight. I may take the boards out and cut a inch or so off but for nownits great! Dogs love it too, they are smaller dogs but it would work great for big dogs too. Saves my seats when they get wet and dirty. Easy for them to get up front if they want to.

This is the best dog hammock I've ever used! I love that it has a sturdy boards to keep the bottom flat so my pups get the entire backseat to get comfy. The sides are able to be put up to keep them in when I open the door until I have hooked their leashes and the front has a little mesh area so my nosy pup can still see us in the front seat. My only complaint is washing is a bit difficult. I purchased this Hammock because my pup gets car sick so if that happens, I have to remove the 3 boards and hose off the hammock and scrub because it doesn't fully get clean in a washing machine I've learned. Then air dry which takes a good while. Still 100% worth the purchase though.

We really like this seat extender for our dogs. I can’t speak to other seat extenders I’ve tried, but other backseat covers for cars don’t compare. For long trips this is a must, especially with two dogs. It is easy to put in, fit well in our Toyota Highlander, was very durable for our first 4000 mile trip and vacuumed up well. I do wish the cover could be removed and put in the wash, but it does clean up well. I also like that it protects the doors on the car from scratches. I would recommend this to my family and friends.

I had a backseat extender before but it did not have a full solid bottom, covering only the open portion and a small part of back seat. It required straps around the front headrests and also the front seat. It was somewhat tricky to install and did not provide a full hard surface across the entire expanse. I saw this and thought it would be worth a try as i was not happy with the previous one. For once I was right. This thing is a game changer. Where the bottom is solid you only have to put the straps around the headrest( front and back). Adjust straps to appropriate length then snap together and your done. I bought a large soft kennel pad to go on bottom. Had our maiden voyage yesterday and it worked fantastic! Very pleased . Item is well made. Straps are sturdy as are clips. Dogs had room to fully lay down with no fear of them falling into floorboards with sudden stops. It also keeps them from being able to climb through to front seat but you can still visualize them well through screened portion. Highly recommended.

Doesn’t have the additional ring attachment for when you want to collapse down to have a passenger also in back, snap hooks are very cheap, bent as I was pushing in to hook over ring to latch
