My son got the DJI mini drone for Christmas. After flying it for a couple months, he broke the right arm motor. We ordered a new one on Amazon and immediately took it to a local guy who’s great at fixing things like this. When he opened the package he noticed it was cracked. We took it to him in the package it came it. He was able to fix it but told us the arm was cracked. Still works but wish I would’ve checked it before dropping off. I replaced the arm on my drone and finally got everything back together, However, when I went to attach the propellers I found that the screw openings where too small for my existing screws. So now I have to go find another one which works. Just keeps this in mind when ordering this replacement.

Drone worked just fine again after replacing my original broken one with this one. Installation is a bit finicky and might go beyond abilities of people who aren't DIYers. You will need a soldering iron. That's just a consequence of how the drone is designed.
