Excellent back brace for my scoliosis. I’ve tried others but this gives me extra support bracing. Didn’t use the lumbar insert it was too hard for me because my back was so tender. But I love it. Highly recommended. 5+stars

The velcro is very strong and adjustable. There is two sets of velcro. The first is is to put it on and the other to tighten it, if you need to. Once I got it on, I was able to wear it Cons: I should have gotten a bigger size. I can get it on, barely. However, it feels too tight. Luckily, it has the second set of velcro, so I can make it work by loosening them. I personally feel that the price of this back support is too high.

This is a $20ish lower back brace that helps when I do something stupid and throw out a back muscle. While it's super adjustable and does give me some extra support when I need it, it's not the most supportive brace I have had. I would not count on it for scoliosis or anything that need more structure, but the velcro sticks, it supports one band around my lower back, and seems worth the $20 for how easy it is to use.

Any therapy device is only good if you'll actually USE it -- and this is one that I'll USE! Adjustable, comfortable fit -- you control the level of tightness, based on your own particular needs. Pull those side straps as loose or as tight as you want/need them to be. (I ordered the Medium -- I'm 5'5", 115lb but thick-waisted due to the messed up back muscles. The Medium fits me perfectly. Use your true waist measurement for sizing and you should be good.) A nice bonus is that adjustable/removable lumbar pad, which actually surprised me with its effectiveness. I really didn't think I was going to be using the pad, but I'm finding it very useful for an added bit of acupressure/shiatsu-like therapy. And I really like that you can move the pad into whatever position you want it to engage your spine. I REALLY like the fact that this brace is so EASY -- I had this on within seconds of opening the bag! I have a whole collection of back support braces that are so complicated and hard to get on, I need a trip to the pain management doctor just from trying to use them -- and so, of course, they're sitting in a pile, unused. Not the case with this brace! Easy, comfortable, doesn't look like you're wearing a suit of armor, can keep it on while I'm sitting, and in fact it reminds me to sit up straight. And I can testify to the claim that it doesn't roll up on you while sitting. It really doesn't! No cutting into my body, no rolling up. Feels like it was custom-made for me. The quality is top-notch, not a stitch out of place, and it feels like it will stand the test of time and USE -- I'll actually be using this one! It's not the cheapest one out there, but it's every bit as good (and about 1/10th the price) as my Rx $$$$ brace from the doctor. ⭐RECOMMENDED⭐

This back brace is made well provides good support for my lower back. The triangular lumbar pad though is way too thick and doesn't help with support for my back and is uncomfortable to wear. Thankfully it is removable and without it the back brace is much more comfortable to wear. I have used other back braces with a removable pad and they are usually much thinner than this one. The side straps are easily adjustable and the velcro holds firmly. The price is somewhat expensive compared to other back braces though so if you are looking for one with a removable pad this might not be for you.
