I can not believe how well this back brace fits. This is the most comfortable brace I have ever worn! No sweating no pinching and no riding up. Becaue I am a curvy girl most back braces either ride up or dig into my hips and this brace does neither. I highly recommend it. I am 174 lb and I got the medium and it fits perfect it even came with an extender which I don't need but I'm glad to have. The straps on the side really lock in the support. I recommend this for all women who need a back brace, because it's firm, it's secure, beathable, and it's comfortable. No sweating and I like in 100 degree humid weather almost year round. It really helps to supports my back reducing my disc pain. I wish they made it to go from under the bust to hips with two sets of straps for petite women, then it would be even better. Even as it is it works great! We'll worth the money.

I tried this brace, this morning, before beginning my daily chores. It’s usually quite difficult to do anything without great pain. I have at least 5 different types of back braces that really haven’t made a difference: I’d still ache, experience sciatica, and these often seemed to make pain worse. Never mind that the braces never stayed in place! ( It’s embarrassing to have to make adjustments while out in public ). FINALLY!! Someone understands that women are built differently from men. This brace adapts to a woman’s curves. I haven’t had to reposition it at all. ( THE ONLY RECOMMENDATION I HAVE FOR THE MAKER IS THAT IT NEEDS “HANDLES” AT EACH END OF THE BRACE BECAUSE OF CONDITIONS THAT MAKE GRIPPING ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. Example: I have had injuries and developed osteoarthritis. My thumb joints have dropped out of place as a result, also. And, what about women who have lost a digit, or more? Strongly sewn handles would be greatly appreciated ). I managed to connect the ends and, at first, I felt the usual sciatic & back pain. So, I loosened the second set of fasteners a little. In no time, I didn’t even notice when the pain left. Immediately, you will feel your back straightened. After three hours, I needed to remove it so that I could shower and was amazed that my back felt better even without it. That’s never happened before with any of the other braces! I ALSO APPRECIATE THAT THE MAKER CONSIDERED WOMEN’S DESIRE FOR PRETTY COLORS. ( And, I’ll add that it also makes finding the brace easier when you have a visual condition ). I HOPE THAT THEY MIGHT MAKE MORE COLOR SELECTIONS.

This is the second Rakiie back brace I own now -- the first was a decent quality posture brace that is a total back-saver when I'm driving long distances. I have arthritis in my lower back, and I'm pear-shaped, so it can be a challenge to find a brace that both fits my curves and stays put. This is one of the better ones for me. My waist is currently 40" and my hips are 47", and support is needed right between those 2 measurements (preferably a bit lower), so you can see my predicament. Braces always tend to slide up when I move around, depriving me of the support where I need it. I got this XL size because it's supposed to fit a waist measuring 45"-51" and I'm taking my hips into consideration here. I was a bit concerned about the velcro coverage being enough for me to tighten it sufficiently as needed, but it turns out that's not a problem at all. There is good velcro coverage. There is also an extender piece for anyone who needs more length, which is handy. This fits me well lower down, and it doesn't slide around nearly as much as other back braces, which is satisfying. The larger size makes it more versatile for me to wear closer to my hips or higher on my waist as needed. Also, the support part in the back has a nice height so it covers more of my spine than many other braces I've tried. People like me who are used to trying & wearing back braces for chronic issues probably won't need instructions, but anyone who's new to the world of back support will find these instructions included with the brace to be a big help. There are both color pictures and text instructions, that are pretty clear and descriptive. That's unusual these days, so I thought I'd mention it here. I don't really care what color a brace is, but this pink color is a nice change from all the regular black or grey braces. I have a collection of braces for various parts of me, and the pale pink on this one makes it easier for me to spot and grab it out of my drawer! :) I'm hoping this well-designed brace will last a long time, because I wear them daily. I've been wearing this one all week, and it hasn't let me down yet -- but that's not long enough for me to rate it with the full monty of 5 stars. I'm giving this brace my highest rating for a newer item, which is 4 stars. Thumbs up!

Like the back brace. It is very wide. Horizontally. I'm 5'2 and that would be better for a much taller person. I'm gonna give it to my son as a present. He is a much taller and it will fit him good.
