I’m so glad I made this purchase and wish I had done it sooner. This chair is for my second baby. For my first, I bought a cheap and less expensive glider recliner that wasn’t electric. I figured it would take a beating and I would regret paying too much. Well, I cursed the cheap, uncomfortable recliner for 3 years until this arrived and I unceremoniously dropped the old one on the curb. (It did take a beating and there was not much to be done for all the baby liquids it took on.) This time, for baby #2, I committed to buying a comfortable rocker/glider/recliner/whatever because I know that contact naps are a real thing and sick babies will often only sleep on their parents. My back and legs were not going through another few years in a cheap chair. For Mother’s Day, our little family actually ordered a very fancy chair from that catalog store at the mall that shall remain nameless. You know, the one you probably want to buy cute kids furniture, linens, and even monogrammed backpacks from? I compromised on some style elements to get something with a guaranteed delivery date about a month before my due date. Ha! The delivery was scheduled, then the chair was lost from the loading dock. We had to order again. This time, no chair until at least September. Ugh. I went ahead and got the style that I wanted, which pushed us to October. The baby came at the end of June and I rocked him in my old, uncomfortable chair until October, when that catalog company, once again, presented us with a delay after scheduling delivery. Not cool! So we canceled the order entirely and I looked on Amazon for a Babyletto chair because I like their style and I knew Amazon would have something in stock. Plus Babyletto still feels like a nice splurge-y brand. Less than a week later, this chair was delivered all the way into the nursery and the guys set it up. And all that for half the price of the fancy catalog chair. Since it got here, DH and I have both spent late nights holding our baby as he went through a sleep regression and his first 2 ear infections. I’m happy to report that our backs were not too wrecked to go to work the next day. Also the fabric is quite water resistant and cleanable. It has already withstood its first big baby vomit, which went down between the seat and arm. Most everything wiped up easily, then for good measure we easily removed the back to get between the cushions. Sprayed with vinegar and air dried to neutralize any odors and it’s good as new. ... show more

This glider is wide enough that my growing infant still loves being rocked in it. The assembly was easy but removing one star for how heavy the base is. The delivery was smooth but you must have 2 or more people help, especially if you have stairs. The fabric is great and repels stains and is easy to clean. The gliding was quiet but after a few months it does creak a bit and the recline feature is great but if your baby wakes up easily you might not be able to use it bc it can be noisy ... show more

LOVE THIS CHAIR! I did so much research on rocking chairs, and even tried out a bunch of them at furniture stores. I am 5'4 so I needed a chair where my feet could touch the floor easily to rock. None of the chairs I tried out in person were short enough. I was hesitant to buy a chair online that I had never tried but I am glad I went with this one. I love that it rocks and swivels, AND reclines. It is so comfortable and it really is hard to stain. First day we set it up my dog pretended to bury something in it, and her scabbed nose left blood on the seat. It came off SO EASILY, I just blotted with a wet cloth. Couldn't believe I got BLOOD out of a light grey seat so easily. I don't use the charging port so I can't speak to that but the reclining buttons are still working just fine 6 months later. ... show more

    • Broke within four months, terrible customer service

I would avoid this chair and select one of the other similarly priced competitor options for three reasons: 1. About four months after purchasing, the motor just straight up stopped working. Dealing with their customer service company, million dollar baby, has been a total joke. Every time we send them the pictures they need or the videos, they have asked for yet another video. We are 13 emails in and 4 videos, and they are finally sending us a replacement piece, which will also take a long time to get here. Stuck with a broken one in the meantime. Trust me, if you are having your first child, you do not have time to be sending four and five videos and multiple pictures to get a simple rebate or simple customer service. I won’t be buying anything from this company again because of this difficulty with its service. It also just feels presumptuous, as a sidenote, that you would expect anyone with an infant to send you several follow-up videos. Guess what’s not high on my to do list? Lol. 2. The ports on the inside are ultra annoying. They jab you in the ass and thigh if you try to sit on the right side of the chair or move over a little. No idea why you would not just put them on the outside with a childproof cover. 3. If you are tall, this is not the chair for you. I am 5’11 and half of my calves and all of my feet hang off the end, when fully reclined. Very uncomfortable. ... show more
