It has educational features like the animal sounds, numbers, and letters but also has lots of fun songs. I also love on the sides it has little beads for him to work on fine motor skills. It keeps him entertained for a LONG time! I was concerned about the turtles legs pinching his fingers when its crawling mode is activated but it has proven several times not to be an issue. It was a hit with my 20-month-old great-grandson! He crawled after it, and enjoyed the phone - mostly used to pull the toy back to himself! Once he's back home in OH, I'm sure he will discover more ways to play with it.

Really lovely toy, looks well built bought it for my 9 month old son as he is now in the process of learning to crawl. Unfortunately less than a month of owning it the speakers seem to have stopped working. Lights and movement still work fine though.
