We originally had an infant optics. After 3 years it broke so we tried VTech. Cool camera but didn’t connect to the monitor and beeped in the middle of the night when disconnected woke us up. Connected instantly and love the web feature and being able to connect via Bluetooth if not connected to internet. This camera: great view, doesn’t pan down much so if the shelf is higher than level, the view will be more or less level. No sound bar for sound detection, no button to shut off screen. Only the OK button turns the screen on. It’s being returned as I want the sound bar and the ability to turn on the screen with any button and then off again with the touch of a button is important to me. ... show more

I had a similar monitor that is highly rated on amazon for about a year that started to not pair with the monitor / camera any longer and needed to look for a replacement - i went with this one as it seemed like the exact same product. Worked great out of the box, but after 1 week - and its only been 2 weeks! - it started to drop the connection, even just 1 room away. The monitor also screeches very loudly when turning the sound on the first level - think of an extremely loud crunching noise like dial up internet - so weird and annoying. Its to the point where we just keep the sound off because its so loud and there are no loud static sounds coming from the babies room - and totally defeats the purpose of having a monitor if there is no way to hear the sound!! Will be opting for return - maybe the seller will respond here. We're really disappointed. Update 10/10/22: heard from the seller and they shipped me a new one saying the original one I purchased was defective. So far so good. Let’s hope this one works out! ... show more

I can't believe I never took the time to review this thing! I LOVE it. I researched baby cams forever before finally settling in this one and I'm so so happy I did. It's worked beautifully since day one, we've even brought it traveling with us. Amazing quality, great range, love that there's a memory card slot you can use if you want (haven't tried it yet but will soon), love that we can choose to opt on to the WiFi off-site option (we haven't yet, we just the local range), and I like that it's so easy to work with. Overall I'm super happy with this one. I've even hooked it up to a battery pack and used it in an area with no electrical. It's a great cam. The only thing I kind of wish it had was the ability to move around the zoom without moving the cam, because the pan/tilt is slightly limited on the vertical axis but that's a seriously minor issue. ... show more

We bought this monitor because our original monitor discontinued and the app was no longer available. We like that this monitor had the features of its own monitor but also can access the camera with your phone. Few days later the monitor is cutting in and out on sound, and we still cannot get the camera to connect to our phones. ... show more

I bought this for my son who was born 10 weeks prematurely. I was worried about how I'd keep an eye on him and still take care of normal adult things with him coming home. The quality of the video is so crisp even when he spits up a little I can see it on the camera. Even if it's on night vision which is super clear as well. There is minor lag on sound but that has to do with wifi itself nothing more. ... show more

The image is very clear and took 10 minutes to set everything up including mounting (totally optional). I can see her entire nursery perfectly. Also it shows a record of when and who access the camera through Wi-Fi so I know it’s secure and no one’s able to access it. It was good while it worked. But after a couple of months, as some reviews say here, the monitor stops connecting to the camera and shows a “no signal” warning.

This camera is pretty awesome. Great price for all it does, and the picture quality is good, both night and day. The camera can be wireless or you can download an app to view it. It has a wide angle to see more and it rotates, so you can just rotate it with the remote. It has cry detection, motion detection, and the camera light can turn off. And with the sd card you can even record! Anddd the remote battery last a very good amount of time. I put it to sleep and 2 days later when I went to use it, it had gone fown 1 line 😱 I just got it so I am really hoping its durable too. Definitely recommend! ... show more
