This bear is the perfect size, I got the 18 inch. Its not too small or too big. I never felt a teddy bear so very soft. Just so adorable. I got this for my soon to be new niece. She will be too young to play with it but I thought it could be used for nursery decor and later be a sweet toy for her. Hope my sister loves it as much as me. Starting with my children 28 years our family gives a Gund bear to each newborn. The latest one we bought is for my newest granddaughter born last month. Gund bears are the softest bear I have ever felt. My 29 year old son still has his, not quite as fluffy but it still brings back a lot of memories. I bought this teddy for my first granddaughter, 4 years ago. It is without a doubt her favorite toy. She writes stories about PB (pink bear) and his adventures. This toy is machine washable -- and has been washed repeatedly. So now that I am expecting a second granddaughter, I had to buy one for her too. I would recommend this teddy bear to anyone.
