LOVE LOVE LOVE! I've been wearing Docs boots and shoes for decades. They have never failed me and these are no exception. As the other reviews recommended, I sized down a whole size. I typically wear a women's 8 in Docs. So, I ordered a 7 and I'm keeping them. A 6.5 would probably fit a little better if I wanted to stick with thinner or no socks. So, if you're not into wearing socks or prefer no shows, consider sizing when 1.5 sizes. Easy pull on/off. The leather is nice and soft. I tried to capture it in a photo but I don't think it does it justice. **Important to note**These particular boots are Chelsea "Warm Wair" but the description and review photos didn't describe the interior very well. So, I explored the official Dr Martens website to make sure I knew what I was ordering. As seen in my photos, the interior is lined with a small amount of fleece. But it is only located on the insole, the front and back of the boot. The top of the foot and sides are not lined with fleece. The lining is NOT thick or bulky like a sherpa lined boot. ... show more

I can’t say anything negative about these boots. I bought these boots in black, but they had the fur lining. They needed to be broken in, but not these, comfortable right out of the box. My new go to for boot cut jeans….BUY THEM!!!

Love them!!! I put them on and immediately used them for a 10-day vacation, walking all around New York. They are warm and perform perfectly in the snow, although it's true that they are not waterproof. If you plan to stay on wet surfaces for a long time, they may not be the best choice.
