As a first time mom, I did a lot of research on video baby monitors because I wanted to be happy and comfortable with my choice. I needed a camera before I could start sleep training in the nursery and after 7 months I was ready to try one out. I knew I wanted a video camera that came with a monitor BUT also had access to an app for my phone. Hubby stumbled upon this one and at first glance it checked all the main boxes. After receiving it was even happier to have it. It also has three different baby specific detections you can turn on (crying, motion, and noise). I’m a light sleeper so not waking for my baby’s cry wasn’t a concern. There is also an option to have an alarm to beep when the baby does any of three. Even on the lowest setting it is pretty loud and definitely would wake up Hubby who isn’t a SAH parent. I don’t usually leave the volume on the monitor because there is a delay/lag. Our nursery is also next door so we can hear if the baby cries from our room. It’s nice that it comes with lullabies but I think it’s weird that you also hear them coming from the monitor. It has some other features like feeding reminders, turning on or off the camera light, motion tracking, temperature and the ability to save photos/videos. I don’t plan to subscribe to the cloud subscription so I purchased SD cards. I put one in the camera and one in the monitor. I still haven’t figured out how to record to the SD card in the camera but I’ll ask customer support. I’m glad this comes with a 3 year warranty as well. Initially I had some issues setting up the Wi-Fi function to link through my phone but customer service responded very quickly and told me how to hook it up and it worked right away. The picture is pretty decent whether it’s daylight or night and I appreciate the fact that it notifies you for movement and noise. I didn’t realize the actual monitor at self while rotate in the direction of the noise which is pretty cool to get a better view. I specifically bought this monitor because of having a handheld device that I can use walking around my house but also the ability to tap into the camera when I’m not at home through my cell phone app. ... show more

This baby monitor has quite a few features for the price. I like that the monitor can be used without wifi, so we can use it while traveling or visiting family without having to go through a full set up. The temperature and humidity are close enough. The sound detection is good and picture is clear. It's very customizable for this like alerts, reminders, and screen going to sleep. The night vision is super clear. Now the quirks: if you have the lens off in the app (not streaming to wifi), the night vision turns off on the monitor. This is rather annoying if you're room sharing. As others mentioned, the menu says "open" and "off" instead of "on" and "off" for some features. Now the things they could improve: The volume is in the menu, and there is no "mute for X minutes," so doing any type of sleep training will have you in and out of the menu a lot. The way the camera is designed, it's really more effective wall mounted. If you have it on a dresser, it does not tilt down very far, so we have it somewhat propped up to get the correct angle to see into the crib. ... show more

Love the camera! Has a great, clear picture on the monitor. The motion alerts to see my baby are very good. Like the fact that you can’t hear the noise machine through the monitor, it only picks up my baby’s cries which is great.. definitely worth the money. The only negatives are that you can’t turn the screen on and off. It has to be set on a timer, so if u want the screen to turn off you have to wait at least a min for it to go dark which at night can be annoying if you are sensitive to light keeping you up. ... show more

I like the monitor. Works well. I like that there is an app I can use to see my baby while I’m at work. Unfortunately it only worked to sync with one phone. I could sync my iPhone but if I tried to sync my husband’s to it mine would be dropped off and disconnect. Also all instructions are in Chinese or German. I don’t know either language. ... show more

Love everything about this and would 100% recommend. Customer service is great as well. My monitor charge port stopped working and within a week they sent me a whole new set. They were super helpful and great. What I love most is that you’re able to use this without Wi-Fi. If you do the app has a few more features compared to the monitor but honestly I would be fine with just using the monitor strictly it’s nice to have options ... show more

I had a tiny manufacturing problem with the monitor button. I got into contact with customer service. They got back pretty quickly. After detecting the issue they sent a replacement. Overall camera quality is great. Application is useful as well. You can detect motion and noise. Night mode is automatically activated which is pretty useful. All in all recommended. ... show more
