Pretty easy to set up and use. It has good features like wheels and bearing able to be used as a bedside sleeper. There is a rocking feature as well. We got it for when my niece visits with her new baby. The wheels make it easy to move around. It breaks down and can be packed in the travel bag for transport. The color is gray, and not really anything to write home about but it is neutral gender and goes with most room decor. Overall a decent bassinet. Side easily disconnects to make it a bedside sleeper. Sides are mesh, making it hit all the marks for “safe sleep”. We are attempting to transfer our daughter to this bassinet from the Halo swivel sleeper. This one fits next to the bed easier and is larger. We are hoping it will allow us more time before we need to transfer her to a crib. For whatever reason she has not adjusted well to this bassinet, wakes easily and sleeps far less stretches than she had in the previous bassinet. That could be due to it having a more “open” feel. Hoping after a few more days she will adjust and get back to her normal sleep routine. I thought it would be a headache to assemble but it just pops right up into place too! This is a great bassinet. It was easy to assemble. I like that it has wheels so that I can move it from room to room as needed. It also has a rocking cradle mode that is nice to help sooth my baby to sleep. Definitely a great addition for a new baby.

This bassinet/bedside sleeper is fairly self-explanatory. It comes in a carrying bag and all you really have to do is unfold it. Unfortunately mine was cranky to unfold; it took some "convincing" to g. et the folding buttons to depress enough to release the locking mechanism... and the directions (which mostly stink) did not even mention that you might have to use the folding buttons to unfold the item. Speaking of the directions, they are pretty poor despite how simple they are. The folding buttons could easily have been made a bright contrasting color and the diagrams could easily have been bigger. However, I am pretty sure I figured it out. You have to install the wheels, which are very tight to put in, and once the wheels are installed the bassinet will not fit back into its carry bag unless you fold the wheels back, and even then it's quite tight. Note to manufacturer: give a couple of inches of slack in the carry bag, willya? Once out of the bag and unfolded with wheels on, you still have to fasten the reinforcing straps underneath the bedboard. The bassinet does offer a bedside sleeper mode, but it's a pain to use because of the need to wrap straps all the way around the adult's bedframe. I think I'm just going to stick with bassinet mode. A thin mattress with a cover is included; should be plenty for a 0-5 month old baby as the instructions state. I have not yet tried converting this thing into cradle mode as it requires removing the wheels with a screwdriver. I have an antique cradle that works just fine... ... show more

I got this for my daughter in law. I wanted her to be able to use this for the first month when the baby comes home. I figured that this would make it easier when the baby wakes up in the middle of the night instead of having to get up and go in the other room. It is also easy to maneuver around, it has adjustable heights and it also can be angled so that the baby gets the best position to be comfortable and sleep. I thought that was a great idea. It also has a cradle/rocking mode which is also awesome. It was pretty easy to assemble, the directions aren't all that great, but it is pretty self explanatory. It also comes with a carrying bag so it can be put away or even brough to the grandparents house if they are going to be watching the baby and don't have a proper bed or crib. This is a great baby shower gift, gift for yourself, or even a gift for a grandparent who needs something for when the baby comes over. ... show more
