I spent countless hours looking for the perfect bassinet for our situation; the one I originally wanted that company stopped making it. But I’m so happy I found this one! I love the rocking feature and how easy it was to put together. The height feature was the biggest selling point for me because our bed is about 30’inches from the floor to the top of the mattress and a lot of other bassinets seemed much better suited for shorter beds. I won’t be the one sleeping in it and our little one isn’t here just yet but it seems comfy enough while also providing a safe sleeping environment that every baby needs. The size also seems to me to be just right plus it rolls! It’s not too big that it takes up the whole room and big enough that she won’t out grow it in a month. Finally the price; it’s a fantastic price point! I had been looking around at kids consignment stores for a bassinet and I couldn’t find the one I originally wanted or anything close to it but with the completion discount I get from having my registry on Amazon I didn’t think twice about purchasing it. Honestly, even if I didn’t get the completion discount I would have happily paid full price. The only person who has the final opinion about the bassinet isn’t here yet but even if she doesn’t like it; she’s a baby and their opinions are about as helpful as asking a cat why they do or don’t like someone or something. I actually bought this specifically for my cats, and it turned out even better than I expected! The size is perfect for two cats to lounge comfortably, and the mesh sides make it airy and easy for them to look around. The raised walls give them a cozy, secure feeling — they love curling up inside for naps.
