  • Great for baking treats
I wanted to make biscuits instead of freezing broth/water. I use a recipe from YouTube which made 4 and a half of the treats (1/2cup pumpkin puree, 2tbs peanut butter, 2 eggs and 3 cups of oat flour. Bake at 350 for 30min.) and my dog loved it. The treat popped out of the mold perfectly, no need for cooking spray and came out pretty soft. To make the treat go into the toy without crumbling I put it into the freezer for a while. My dog loves it. It’s perfect for the larger sized toys (which I cannot find refills for in in-person stores). I tried to take a look photo of the treat ball filled and my dog was too excited, she started licking the treat. ... show more

  • Cost effective, works perfectly -especially when keeping tabs on calories
Perfect For my large Starmark Everlasting treat ball- I have 2. I freeze yogurt, unsweetened applesauce, shredded organic carrots, wild blueberries dog buddy peanut butters & bone broth in different combinations. I will probably buy a few cans of wet dog food to also add into the mix. I have a high energy and reactive dog and licking frozen Kongs and these help keep him busy and calm. I’m VERY happy to have found this mould. I still buy their regular treats, but love being able to rotate different snacks. If the weather is nice, a frozen one out on our deck is perfect. If I want him busy a real long time, I give him a stuffed/ frozen Kong. These don’t take him as long BUT, he’s also not getting as big of a treat and I can make them lower calorie or higher. I have been freezing a batch and keeping them in a bag in the freezer- this is definitely easier to freeze, however not for the weak to slide it into place inside the toy. (Not anymore difficult than the original treats either though). In my picture, I show you the whole set up. ... show more

  • Helpful
I’m really glad I found this item. I don’t want to give my dog the pre-made fillers, but he LOVES these snacks. Only reason for removing a star was the sizing is a bit off. They’re a bit too wide, so if I’m trying to put something frozen in, it takes hulk level strength. Still glad I bought it, just need to be mindful of what I use. ... show more

  • Excellent for homemade treats!
I love this silicone mold! I’m able to put all kinds of doggy goodies in them, such as peanut butter, bacon, kibble, whatever. Then I freeze it. It does take some elbow grease to get it into the wheeler toy, but it helps to wet the sides of the treat. My pup gets vey excited! I put a homemade molded treat on one side, and a store-bought disc treat on the other side. Pup goes straight for the homemade treat first, devours it pretty quickly, then spends much longer on the other side. Success! ... show more

  • Flimsy but fits
The treats do fit into the toys, but the tray is very flimsy so you might need to put a metal tray underneath it before filling it to get it into the freezer
