I've tried a few different self tanners in my days and this one by far is the very best. I love the foam over lotion any day because it's easier to see where you've spread it. It's smells great coming out and doesn't leave a weird smell on your body afterwards. It smells like you've been to the tanning bed afterwards without all the harsh lighting. Not exactly a candy smell but not a terrible one. I got 5 shades darker after one use. I decided to use it after a shower before bed and left it on all night long. I didn't wash it off. No steaks, no transfer on clothes or bedding. You just feel a little sticky for about 20 min then your good. I will continue to keep biting this product out others from b. Tan.

This recipe has a violet base, to create useful boundaries making it easier to double coat as well. The smell is toned down, but does have a sweet aroma. This recipe is a 1-4 hour rinse off. Do not use soap during the rinse off, and moisturize accordingly:

My first time ever using fake tan and it was a great beginner experience. If you want something subtle, do one coat and leave it on for an hour. Makes you look healthy and slim. If you want something less neutral and more bronze/gold, do two coats and leave for an hour. I, myself, am still experimenting with coat numbers and leave-on time. Remember to buy a tanning mitt as this doesn't come with one. Lasts a week or so if you don't exfoliate afterwards and maintain a moisturizing habit. I’ve also done one coat, 8 hours, but it’ll come out a little patchy. I’m incredibly pale but this colour isn’t too dark at all! In fact, I would say this is a very safe colour to choose if you aren’t sure how dark to go (especially if you’re just beginning.) At first, it smells like cotton candy and after you rinse and it starts to develop, there isn't any smell (maybe if you try really hard to smell, it has the FAINTEST smell of henna, definitely not noticeable at all.) A great product overall. Can't wait to purchase again.

Not a paid review: let’s start there. Okay, so this is actually my first review EVER, so work with me. For starters, I’m extremely pale, in the sense that my kneecaps kinda look blue and my skin has HEAVY PINK undertones. I’m a natural blonde and I was so worried about 1.) looking orange or noticeably fake and 2.) it not settling well with my complexion. Now I’ve tried the other btan products (tanned AF, ain’t nobody got time for that, and finally disco candy) the tanned AF works well I feel like if you have dark hair and look like you could naturally be tan, but for me, it left me very orange. The ain’t nobody got time for that was great. It didn’t leave a “tan” based on what other people would call tan, but it definitely added color (that looked natural) to my skin. But the disco candy, LADIES AND GENTS: is a game changer! I first off, exfoliated in the shower with tree hut sugar scrub (vitamin c), and then shaved my legs and continued to exfoliate afterwards with Caress brown sugar body wash, and finished by PATTING my body dry. Now, if you’re like me: I naturally have dry skin, and I recently discovered that putting banana boat aloe on my skin afterwards gets rid of that tight dry skin feeling, so I put that on and massages it into my skin until it was dry. Afterwards I put on the disco candy tan with rubber gloves (that part is important, because I’ve noticed the tanning nuts can leave streaks), and it glides on like a gem! This lacks orange pigment so my tan looked so natural!! My elbows, back of my ankles, and knees weren’t looking cracked and or streaky, and even my face took to it so well! I left it on for about 5 hours, and rinsed off in the shower again (no body wash, just water) and patted myself dry again. You could see a hell of a difference, and the confidence booster is a HUGE plus. So peeps, if you are fair skinned and practically the shade of wall primer or a road reflector, I highly recommend DISCO CANDY. It’s a must have for the summer!

Delivers what it claims! Easy non streaky application with the mitt. No strange smell (actually does smell like cotton candy). Not sticky or greasy and doesn’t rub off on clothes. Leave it on for an hour or so and shower off. I’ve tried several self tanners over the years with mixed results. This is by far the best for an even natural looking tan. Have recommended to several friends.

I've tried this twice and they must have a much different idea of dark tanning than I do. I'm fairly pale bc I stay covered up and use sunscreen when I do yardwork and I've left it on over 4 hours and there is literally no change. Super bummed and won't use this brand in the future.
