The media could not be loaded. We had a different floating thermometer before this one, but it stopped working pretty quickly. This duck has been a big upgrade—it feels sturdier, the display is larger and easier to read, and the temperature has been spot-on every time. It flashes a warning if the water is too warm, which gives me peace of mind, especially during those early baths. I think the ease of use of this topic really varies depending on what you’re getting out of it. I just wanted a simple thermometer that measures the temperature of the water in the bath tub before giving my child a bath. It does that. I like that it floats around in the bath tub and constantly updates what the temperature is like. But what I do not like is how quick the battery dies because I did not figure out how to turn it off. If I remember correctly, there was not an off button. I read the instructions, and there were also so many combos of buttons that gave different functions that honestly I just did not need and will not use. It also starts a timer as soon as it is in the water to help you know how long your baby has been in the bath. You can also personalize your preferred temperature settings for the flashing lights.
