I recently replaced my wife's Macbook Air with a newer model. She loved the laptop but not the color. I bought this to put customize it for her and it really looks great (more importantly, she echoed my raves). The pink "zebra stripes" are unique. There are plenty of solid color cover choices and there are those with floral or picture patterns. However, I haven't seen many with this type of design and I think it stands out against the standard grays or solid colors out there. It definitely will garner some looks and people asking you where you got it (at least it did with me). There aren't any included instructions but there really doesn't need to be. The bottom snaps on and will fit in only one configuration (so that the ports on the sides line up). The top also fits quite well and snaps into place just as easily but it can be rotated 180 degrees for you to choice "which side is up." Both the top and bottom provide adequate protection for the day-to-day. Loose cables and other objects in your bag won't scratch the laptop (the sides are exposed, however) and there are four rubber feet on the base which provide both a non-sliding grip on the table as well as lift the laptop up slightly which can avoid small spills (it won't, however, survive something like putting your laptop through the dishwasher). Once snapped on they stay in place. Additionally, there is a keyboard cover which doesn't snap or glue into place but just rests on top of the built-in keyboard. Despite not having any permanent or semi-permanent adhesion, the keyboard cover does stay in place on its own. After eating that everything bagel over your laptop like you know you shouldn't have done, you can just lift the protector and shake it off while scolding yourself and promising you won't do it again (until tomorrow). The screen protector is more like the ones you get for a tablet than some of the others out there that just attach at the corners. This means that there is an adhesive on the back that covers your screen and should keep it more firmly in place than others. The downside to this, though, is that it also comes with the problems of other screen protectors in dealing with loose hairs, dust, and air that can leave bumps and bubbles underneath. I'm terrible at installing these types of screen guards and this did take a few tries to get right (it also helps if your cat doesn't become curious as to what you are doing while performing the install). I like it. My wife likes it. The laptop looks great and everyone is happy. I'm not deducting any stars for the screen because I actually prefer something that will stay in place... it just may take a try or two to get it fully lined up.

Comprehensively reviewing this product feels a little bit hard because I cannot speak for how well the case will protect your Mac, and I’m not willing to drop mine to find out. I will say that I really like how well this case fits my computer. It is very low profile and fits all of the openings, while also allowing it to close completely. I also really love the key cover! I typically use an external keyboard, but when I do have to use the one on my computer, it somehow feels easier and more enjoyable to type. I do not plan to use the screen cover, so I cannot comment on the effectiveness of that feature. Overall, I do like knowing that my computer has an extra layer of protection, and the design is absolutely adorable. The black squiggles are actually raised just a little bit so if you like texture, this one is very satisfying. Both top and bottom of the case have a matte finish. It states it has anti-slip feet, but they honestly feel a little slick to me. I keep my computer on a stand, so I am not using this feature, but the case itself is not sliding whatsoever when placed on the stand. Overall, I really like it.

The case was easy to assemble onto my MacBook Air. The screen protector was not usable because it doesn’t come with a squeegee type of device to get the air bubbles out. The color of the case looks a bit different in my photos than in person.

It's stylish without being overly flashy, making it perfect for casual and professional settings. Friends and colleagues have complimented the look. The hard shell case fits the Mac perfectly. Installation was straightforward—simply snap it on, and it's good to go. The durability of the plastic is commendable; it feels robust and provides a solid shield against scratches, minor bumps, and fingerprints. I mean seriously my toddler colored all over the back and it wiped right off with a wet wipe.

This looks so cute on the device. My only complaints are that it is thin, and somewhat slick. The material isn’t super durable, so if you worry about drops.. this isn’t for you.
