Some people have complained about the quality of the bamboo bowl. It’s a thin little bamboo bowl to mix your face mask in; It’s not like you’re serving dinner in it. It does what its purposed to do. I wish the scoop had measuring lines on it, and to be a little greedy, I wish there was a second scoop for you to put the liquid in with. So I could leave the dry one in the container at all times. I love this clay mask. I like that it’s not going to expire for four years. I’m not wasting it. It says you can get 10 to 12 mask out of it, but I think I’m going to get a lot more, especially with the handy little measuring tools. I like that if I just wanna do a mask for myself, I just make a tiny amount or if my sister is here and she wants to do one too. I just double it up and then we both sit around like weirdos. The brush that they give you to put it on with is nice and soft . It’s really easy to apply. Make sure if you get it on your eyebrows that you wipe them off while it’s wet. Trust me. To remove, the best way is to take a warm washcloth and place it over your entire face. A couple times until the clay is damp again. It’s much easier to remove that way. You also want to wash your bowls and tools immediately. Don’t let this stuff dry. Because it is doing a detox on your face, you might find that it will make your skin red and you might feel tingly or burn-y For about 20 minutes after you take it off. I like to put moisturizer on immediately and that seems to tame the redness some. If you have really sensitive skin, this may not be for you. All I can say is you could try it. Only leave it on for about five minutes though. I have pretty tough skin. I guess. I leave it on for 20 minutes or until it’s completely dry. I don’t think I can say enough good things about this! When I can see the bottom, I’ll be ordering more for sure! Edit: 9.24.25 I’m still using the same set and I didn’t stay before which is probably obvious to some and maybe not to others. If you prefer a thick mask, you just add less water or whatever medium you’re using to mix or if you like a thinner or mask you add more. I really like that. This is just so customizable and you can really truly do whatever you want. I cannot say enough good about this.

However, when they stopped carrying the Aztec Indian Clay, I reluctantly tried a different brand, only to find it didn't match up to the effectiveness of the Aztec clay. Upon discovering that Amazon offered the Aztec Indian Clay with a kit, I eagerly seized the opportunity to purchase it. My overall rating remains a solid five stars because it truly is an outstanding product. The Aztec Clay's versatility extends from head to toe, making it a staple in my skincare routine. Receiving the kit was a delight, especially with the inclusion of a natural bamboo mixing bowl, which eliminates the worry of where to mix the face mask. The scoop ensures perfect measurement every time, while the mixer is an invaluable tool. The brush makes applying the mask effortless. I use the Aztec Indian Clay at least three times a week, and as a result, my skin remains moisturized. For daily use, I pair it with Thayers alcohol-free hydrating rose petal toner with aloe vera, eliminating the need for additional moisturizing lotions. I have been using the Aztec Secret Clay Mask for years and was happy to find it on Amazon. The mask works great and makes my skin glow. After removing mask your skin is light red but that fades pretty quick. I like to do the mask close to bedtime and rinse off. I use a light moisturizer after and the next morning my skin is smooth and glowing. It's like a spa at home.

I was excited to use this mask kit and started using it regularly (first photo). Unfortunately, it didn’t take long before the bowl cracked completely (second photo). That was disappointing, but I will say the seller made it right quickly. The mask itself is fantastic — works exactly as described, deep cleans pores, and leaves skin feeling refreshed. I just wish the mixing bowl was more durable.

Forget any other face mask out there- this one trumps them all. Rated a 100 (!!) on Yuka, and made of only one ingredient, I knew I wanted to give this a try. I combine it with Apple Cider Vinegar, and it makes like a fluffy paste. I use the brush to paint it on (so easy and satisfying) and then give it 10 minutes or so before hopping in the shower to rinse it off. It does make my skin a bit red after, but I see that as a sign of it working!! My skin feels so tight and clean after. I'll never buy another overpriced gimmicky face mask again. This is where the gold is!
