I was looking for something slim and simple and this case is perfect. So far the magnetic back and magnetic pen strap appear to be sturdy and work perfectly to keep the pen in place.

I buy a lot of cases every year for a plethora of eink devices. I typically don't like PU leather but often that's the best that's available. In the case of the RPP, I originally had the official leather, but when I returned my device for a replacement the case went with it because it was NOT worth it. Make no mistake, it was better quality than this one, just not $180 US total worth. I purchased a similar in quality case for a Nook 4 Glowlight Plus last year and that was $13, I've never paid more than $25. Taking into account the larger sizing and slight design improvements like no plastic or cheap stitch work, I think this case should be priced around $30-35. I know the device is new and options are limited so they have the advantage. There is no texture to the surface of this cover, I'd have personally preferred SOME. As far as I recall, this cover works almost identically to the official case, there is even an indent for the flap on the back (though not as deep). The flap magnetizes to the back but the front cover does not. It lies NEARLY flat when folded back similarly to the official. The inside is grey on the black cover and isn't as soft as the official but its soft enough. I think it will hold up as well as the official case would. I took a star off because its a bit too much for what it is comparatively. and because I think it would have been nicer with a bit of texture.

Great case very similar to the official Remarkable case. I bought this and the official Remarkable case, this case is redder than the Burgandy official case, so is not quite as nice looking, but the build quality is virtually the same, and it still looks and feels fantastic. I liked this so much that I also purchased the black version so I could have a couple of different colors.

Received it today. I like the texture of the case, and it's a perfect fit. I close the cover and the reMarkable Pro turns off. I open the cover and it turns on. The strap for the pen is a nice touch. I bought the red cover and it looks nice.

Binder did not last past 3 months before treating at both ends (see pics). After chatting with customer service, Amazon issued a refund and I am a satisfied customer with the refund given. The case is nice but does not protect the corners and edges.
