These are pretty low profile when in the down position. Strong material, no looseness good price. Magpul sights like these are way too expensive for what they are. The only thing that would have made these perfect would have been quality fiber optic for low light conditions.

Seem pretty solid, haven't mounted yet. I've got flip ups from 3 or 4 different "cheap" brands, prior to receiving these my UTGs were the best. These appear to be about the same quality as those. The spring button is much less obtrusive than most of the sets I've tried, and they're not too shiny like a lot of cheap anodized sights, which is a good thing since you don't want shiny sights. I chose these specifically because I noticed when I went looking for another set (new upper) that pretty much all the cheapies are now "fiber optic" with plenty of complaints about missing pieces and improper construction, just gimmicky, don't need that on my buis. These are just plain old traditional sights. I noticed the front sight came backed all the way out, so I assume (I hope) it isn't necessary to keep it at that extreme height to align them properly, but I think it's just for faster assembly at the factory. I'll update this if I've got any issues with the sighting or holding zero but they seem pretty solid and the spring button looks good. Going under a QD scope so I doubt they'll ever see use after I get them zeroed anyway. I don't like flip up sights in general, but I do always make sure I've got a backup sight option, and I'm not spending $100+ on something that will likely never get used. Fixed sights I spend a little more on. Overall I'm happy with these and assuming I don't have any issues with installing or zero I'd buy them again. ... show more

For smaller more sensitive fingers the buttons are very small and hard on soft hands tho they don't bother my fingers good product.
