I needed a small easy to transport screen room to go in my small camper. This works great. Very easy for me to set up and take down on my own. ( I have the basic 5 sided version without the roll down rain panels). Not sure why the reviews about being shipped “ inside out”, just follow the directions. Out of the carrying bag and start pulling on the straps and it pretty quickly pops up. Then go inside and push up the roof support. Only thing I did extra was get some larger tent stakes as I just didn’t trust the smaller ones where I camp. After several uses it seems good quality. I consider it a good buy.

Good height, deployed quickly, was a bit heavy but the bag seemed to mitigate this. The CB mesh is tight do not much breeze entering but not a big issue. I do think that filtering the comments do you only see the positive is counterproductive. Don’t hide Commentary that’s not favorable. It make people think your hiding something. Just let it go😂. Only offensive and inappropriate commentary should be discarded. Overall a decent tent/ gazebo. I do wonder if it’s good to overnight in.

I saw this canopy and I thought it would be good to use at the beach, outside at the state parks, or maybe at a tailgate party. My first impression was the canopy was kind of heavy at 25 lbs when I unboxed it from its shipping container, but the heft is because they use thicker materials and solid construction for this product. I went to the beach yesterday and was hesitant to bring along the canopy because of all the other stuff I need to carry from my vehicle down to the beach. I'm glad I brought this canopy because it's so much nicer than my other three canopies I have from another brand (tall canopy, quick shelter, and a quick canopy). I also have an A-frame tent, three popup tents, and several beach umbrellas I bring with me (I don't bring all of them but bring a mix depending on how long were staying, windy and cold, sunny and no shade, etc). Setting up the canopy is a little more involved then the other canopies because this one is bigger and heavier and pushing the top open took more force. Once the top portion is deployed the sides are easy to push out and then stake the canopy if it's windy (I didn't need to stake the canopy with winds around 8 to 10 mph on the beach that day). Once I had the canopy setup I put all my kids beach toys in one corner of the canopy and my littlest one proceeded to keep playing with the sand and his toys. He immediately liked the canopy because it provide protection from the sun yet still let in enough light to feel like he's playing outside on the beach. It's really roomy inside if you look at the two photos the toys only took one corner of the canopy and there was still room for my stuff including the food, snacks, and my portable grill. The mesh screens not only provide sun protection but block a good amount of the breeze and keeps the bugs out. If you've ever had a grilled burger outside and the yellow jackets keep attacking you and your food, it's nice to have a screen that can be easily zippered closed. At nighttime the screens blocked enough of the wind that it made the lower temps bearable next to the ocean almost in December (end of November). Outside the canopy the breeze was strong enough to make you feel chilly and cold but inside the canopy with the screens to block some of the wind it felt a lot warmer. This is a huge benefit for the canopy because during the off-season (non summer months) this will allow me to go places when the weather is not as nice or colder and the kids are happier because they don't feel the cold as much. I like the open bottom because it allows them to play in the sand or the grass and I can cook inside without worrying about spilling something on the floor of the tent. The kids can eat their food inside without the yellow jackets attacking their food and I don't worry about them dropping food on the floor because it's sand or grass. The water resistant roof kept the moisture that collected from the ocean on top of the roof from coming inside the canopy and dripped down the sides outside.
