Good case for the price. Used to store and transport glassware. Pluck foam was easy to separate for a great fit. Not sure I’d trust it on an expedition. Works perfectly for my use.

Seems real sturdy. If you've tried say a pelican 1300 and a HUL whatever that's about the same size, you'll know the Pelican is thicker plastic, actually waterproof, has thicker hinges and latches, etc. This case is much closer to the Pelican side of the spectrum. Quite impressive for the price. Biggest issue is keeping the 3 layers of foam together when removing larger objects. I'm thinking something with 3d printed plates on top/bottom, meeting even between layers in some places, and held together with spacers/pins that push through the foam and lock everything together. ... show more
