Really happy with the Axial SCX10 III Coyote 4X4. The build quality feels great right out of the box — everything seems solid and well put together. It doesn’t feel cheap, and it’s held up well so far on the trails. Performance on the rocks is where this truck really stands out. It crawls over obstacles smoothly and has plenty of traction. The low-speed control is nice, which makes it easier to handle technical sections and steeper climbs without feeling like you’re fighting it. Overall, it’s a fun and capable crawler. This is the best performing rtr I've ever purchased at this price point. You're not really gonna be winning any class 3 comps out of the box, but it's a great platform to start with. I honestly just use mine out on the trails, because for that, it's extremely capable. Mine is pretty modified at this point, but it's great in stock form for the price. If you're mod, the first thing to do is add some unsprung weight down low, like brass portals, diff covers and aluminum wheels. The stock Pro-line tires are the best rtr tires I've had. A lot of other people think so too. I don't regret buying this rtr one bit. The only thing I don't like is the glued-on wheels, but that's not worth removing a star for. Just get some Bob Smith Industries "Un-cure" and watch a couple YouTube videos for how to use it to remove the tires without damaging them. ... show more

My fam is into rc crawlers and they talked me into getting one. I bought a coyote and you just can't go wrong with a coyote. We had a little competition while camping and my coyote walked the whole course and did the best which caused my fam to start upgrading and buying better trucks. Just a few upgrades and the truck will litteraly go anywhere. Quality tires, good insters, shocks and a smaller front gear and you'll be crawling with the best of em. Also my everybody is constantly breaking... nothing has broke on my truck yet ... show more

I hate that it can't fit full size 2S batteries unless you buy a bunch of other stuff or rig it. The receiver isn't protected by a waterproof box anymore and the one I ordered didn't mount right but I made it work. It could have been a very awesome crawler and it does do very well on rocks and traile since I ordered some shorty packs to keep the weight at the front. Would I pay this much for this crawler again? No not worth the money for a base crawler even with the portal axles. It is fun, but the shorty battery packs I'm using definitely don't last long. It looks great but not convenient if you wanna swap to another crawler body because of the clipless body setup it has. It performs very well out of the box, but it could be so much better and it took some upgrading to make it do what I wanted it to do. Maybe I'm being to picky, but I don't like the limitations with batteries, the body options and the amount I'd have to spend to make it do what I want. ... show more
